We are a very small registered charity. We found it really difficult to find any institution that would take us on board. When we contacted Saffron they were extremely helpful and welcoming.. Our account was up and running within two weeks and everyone was polite and there to answer any query we had. Reviewed on: 28th November 2024

Unclear email instructions.

You sent me an email to say that my ISA was about to mature. I decided to act promptly and tried to give maturity instructions on line. Had problems logging in and phoned you, helpful lady got the problem resolved, but still no box for maturity instruction. Phoned again and was told that you can not give online instruction until 14 days before maturity, but this was not stated in the email. Then transferred and was (hopefully) able to give instruction on the phone. Needs a bit of a tidy up. Reviewed on: 28th October 2024

I went in to local branch with an enquiry and was greeted promptly and efficiently helped to resolve my enquiry to a successful conclusion. I left fully updated and having updated my savings account to a higher saving rate and much clearer on how I can save and access the account going forward. Reviewed on: 28th October 2024

Easy to communicate with the company.

Easy to communicate with the company. I do follow the interest rates and pick the highest. You do well for regular savers but ghave not yet been number one at the time i want to open or transfer an ISA. Reviewed on: 28th October 2024

I was unable to locate the maturity manager online

I was unable to locate the maturity manager online so ended up sending a series of messages to give my instructions. Responses were prompt, but would have preferred to be shown the options and make my choice in one login session. It would also have helped to be pointed towards the members only account. Local convenience abd good value

You have a branch not far from where I live (the one on Market Hill Royston), so it's easy to pop in; some of your products offer good rates for savers so are worth taking up. It's just pure laziness, why go to Timbuctu if I can shop in Royston. Reviewed on: 24th October 2024

Always lovely and helpful people on the phone

Always lovely and helpful people at the end of a phone, knowledgeable about products and quick at actioning issues. Let down by poor online service provision and issues with instructions in the post. My renewal / end of term written instructions sent in the mail were not actioned for months/at all two years in a row - had to call. Should be able to deal with those online, would greatly improve customer service. Reviewed on: 22nd October 2024
