Review of the Santander, Basic Current Account:

Glad I’m soon leaving.

Awful experiences most of the time. In making simple transactions in the bank the queues are disgusting. Staff stood around waiting for queue to get bigger before then serving. Security questions great but the incessant questions going way beyond are unnecessarily intrusive. Branches shutting down and basic things can’t be done in the machine and needs queuing for. Then having to repeat things over and over again because of lack of listening. Just overall never been a good experience with this bank. Glad I moved banks for most of my savings. Basic Current Account

I have had the account for 12 years and never had a problem. I like the app and can easily check my balance, make transfers instantly and view transactions. I would like it if it updated in real time. Reviewed on: 12th January 2020

Basic account so what do you expect!

I feel the security is really good these days, certainly been lots of improvement. With it being a basic account there's obviously no extras, but it does fine for me. Reviewed on: 11th January 2020
