Starling are always quick to add a new device to your account, and it’s easy to do. one morning, a I got a notification for a transaction at a petrol station. I hadn’t left home. I called to inform them of possible fraud. Turns out the petrol station delayed submitting the transaction for a few weeks. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025

Easy to organise and manage

Always responds quickly to questions and the interface is very intuitive. I appreciate greatly that they don't fund fossil fuels which is a big reason I switched. I love using the pots for sectioning my money per savings and bills. However, some repeating payments such as apple cannot be added to be deducted from your bills space, which can be a little inconvenient. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Just will not listen

When I first started with Starling, they were great. Now however, I find they treat their customers with some disdain. My experience with their feedback process ('starlingbank dot com/contact/') is if you use it, they email you back and tell you to go to the app. If you've crafted a detailed email with your feedback originally, then you are told to go to the app which is limited to 500 characters, you could come unstuck. Challenging for anyone who has communication challenges wishing to articulate feedback effectively. They also do not respond to any feedback submitted. So I officially complained, Starling upheld my complaint and agreed their web site is misleading in this regard, but five months later, no change to their website. As this is not a financial matter involving money, the FCA will not look into this. So Starling just continues to ignore and mislead its customers with regards to feedback.
