Windfall Bond

Bring the WFB back to sizeable investors. Nationwide ran a 12m draw much "fairer" than the FBS bond. Scrap the "Blank Tickets" & alot to your members ! (IF they intend to limit the numbers, then introduce eg. Holders with a minimum of say 2 or 3 to qualify. Another eg. Halifax investors criteria £5k minimum. Reviewed on: 16th December 2022

Fixed Rate Bond

Recently opened a fixed rate bond online and later spoke to a member of staff to clarify a couple of points. Christina was very friendly and helpful and everything went smoothly. Reviewed on: 9th December 2022

Good savings interest

They have been very quick to increase their variable savings rates in line with the Bank of England rates. Reviewed on: 6th December 2022

Poor interest rates

Their easy access account now pays the lowest interest rates in the high street amongst other B/S, where before it used to be one of the best, VERY disappointed. Reviewed on: 30th November 2022

Excellent

I opened an online savings account with you and found the whole process to be easy to use and quick. I received documents in the post very quickly and used your 'upload' document process. I immediately got confirmation that my documents had been received. In a world where processes are ever more complicated, you have succeeded in making the process simple and easy to use. 1st contact

Opened account on Monday and my message on my account was answered on Wednesday PM and also received a requested call back Wednesday AM. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2022

Very very difficult application process.

I have tried to open a savings account today. Left now knowing if its actually been open whole process has taken me over a hour to complete. Very confusing due to unclear website Reviewed on: 18th November 2022

Excellent service

Tom Walton was very polite and helpful to my need. He was very reassuring as he gave me another option that I could take since I was worried about posting my application during the postal strike service. It was so refreshing to speak to someone so helpful and not trying to get rid of me as it was the end of the day when I called the branch and he came across as if he had all the time in the world for me. I sent four items for additional I.D. requirements by first class post and received the most unhelpful shoddy response saying that none of it was acceptable, which was totally inaccurate. Most decent up to date institutions are satisfied with electronic checks, many of whom I have invested with over two decades, do not have such old fashioned tringent requirements.So do not waste your time, as I did, and go elsewhere. They are the most unhelpful ignorant bunch of time wasters I have ever had the unfortunate experience to come across. Reviewed on: 16th November 2022

If these do not meet our requirements, we will ask you to send us original or certified copies of the documents we require, and they must be certified as advised.
