Ethical banking that is transparent

I really like Triodos, I've never had an issue with using my bank cards or paying in. The app is easy to use and the extra levels of security work well. I'm most thankful that they are entirely transparent about where and how they invest their money, which makes me feel far more secure banking with them. I’ve been using the Triodos current account for a fe...

I’ve been using the Triodos current account for a few years and really appreciate how it aligns with my values—it’s great knowing my money supports ethical and sustainable projects. The account is simple, the app is easy to use (though a bit basic), and the £3 monthly fee feels fair for the transparency and purpose behind it. There’s no overdraft and a 2.5% foreign transaction fee, so it might not suit everyone, but for everyday banking with a positive impact, I’m genuinely happy with it. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2025

First class customer service every time. Short waits to deal with helpful people. I am deaf, and they have always been patient, helpful and understanding. Informative, and relevant updates and newsletters, helping me to bank securely and with a clear conscience. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2025

Ethical stance.
