TSP Banking’s business banking service is extremely disappointing. They frequently threaten to freeze customer accounts without valid reasons, seriously disrupting customers' normal operations. This practice causes significant inconvenience and frustration. Such poor service severely damages customer trust and needs immediate improvement. Do not choose TSP – their service is terrible! Not a business bank

TSB don't seem to understand small business an seem more keen to grab market share than update their systems and processes, simple things like setting up a small overdraft take weeks and need unnecessary amounts of paperwork. Setting up on line banking or telephone banking is also a joke, they have no real business app only an authentication app which they forced on customers with no alternative and doesn't always work. In short, if you are looking for a business account avoid TSB, they are 10 years behind everyone else. Reviewed on: 25th April 2018

Useless

Mush be the worst customer service ever ! I've had the same buissiness account for 20 years ( originally Lloyds they were great then got moved to TSB by them ) since then I've never even had to make a call to them to see who my relationship manager is , until now !! The account has never had an overdraft or been in the red , paying in circa £400000 per year with a 6 figure balance . I resently contacted them to open a new buissiness account what a mistake ! I got some clueless computer screen robot that wanted to as 1000 questions about what it will be doing , where it will be trading , they wanted to see my last 3 years accounts for the original buissiness ( took copies to the local branch for them verifie me and send copy's to head office ) but they did not call me back I had to call to chase up . I was then told after 65 mins interview on the phone that I was accepted for a new account but had to prove the trading address ( another trip to the local branch ) a few days later to be called and asked to send more proof as the first lot was not enough !! . At this point a gave up the will to live so told them to forget it and I went to Natwest where it was all sorted out for me no problem . They have now lost that account that would of payed money in with no overdraft or loan , and I will be now moving my main buissiness account over to ( 20 year of buissiness with them ) god help anyone that wants to open a buissiness account with them from fresh and lend money you will be very disappointed . Poor customer service

I've been with TSB for a couple of decades without any problems, recently they blocked my account and after several telephone calls and multiple visits they still have not unblocked it (5 days and counting). Their staff are clearly not trained to deal with customers in vulnerable situations and do not take ownership of any issues. Systematically the bank seems only to operate between 9-5, apart from basic queries no one is available to answer any questions of substance outside of these times, staffs themselves are passed from pillar to post when trying to call around to resolve an issue, if you want good customer service, a bank that responds to your needs and reacts quickly to resolve situations then go elsewhere, nowadays TSB like to say NO. Extremely slow!

Do not go to TSB Business Banking if you are opening your first business account. They are extremely slow. By that I mean that I have applied nearly two months ago and my account is still not up and running. All my paperwork is in line with the requirements, and everything needed from me has been submitted on time, but the bank is still not opening the bank account. I had my debit card sent, as well as my checkbooks, but the account is currently not yet usable. After speaking to the support team numerous times, I have just been continuously told there are some final checks going on and the account should be live soon. This has been going on for the past month. One of the questions I have been asked last week from a member of staff was "Why have you named your business like that?". You can imagine to what extent they waste people's time. It's just a ridiculous service - I already have a pile of invoices and clients on hold to make a payment, and obviously I cannot receive the money I have worked for. Save your time and money and don't apply for a business account at TSB. Reviewed on: 21st November 2016

Great Service

Always very helpful staff at my local branch who have dealt with my account setup and running very smoothly. Never had any problems or issues and the fees are explained from the start. Would thoroughly recommend. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Fine when nothing goes wrong

Fine for everyday banking, but terrible when anything goes wrong! Saddly dealt with some very unhelpful staff which has led to things that should have been dealt with easily enough turning into very frustrating experiences Reviewed on: 12th February 2016
