Would definitely NOT recommend

Reading other reviews it is correct to say that they lie and they trick you out of hundreds! I tried to call and get in contact several times to cancel my insurance but could never speak to someone and now they are trying to charge me hundreds just to cancel! They are such a rip off!! Not only that but I am being bombarded with 5 or more messages a day and they have taken money out of my account without my authorisation!! I would advise not to use them as there are better companies out there who will not rip you off! Reviewed on: 13th November 2024

It’s a shame you can’t put one star, This company allowed me to. Take insurance out with them range me for the past week around 10 times a day when I did pick the phone up and he told me Who he was calling from I explained it wasn’t a good time to call and got rude over the phone to me within minutes, I received an email telling me my policy had cancelled when I went back online to chat to them about it they told me it had cancelled. I then went back on and submitted the same Details they had a phone call saying they have to put my policy up because iv had a cancellation on my policy before, I explained it was done by your selves they didn’t car the company owner doesn’t get back to you, I’ll be contacting, the financial conduct authority and explain how you treat your customers and deal with getting extra payments out of us Reviewed on: 1st March 2023

Awful company! Terrible customer service once you eventually get through to someone!! Cancelled a policy after one month, 6 months later "I owe them money" Took them 6 months to decide that though! Then they take money from you without a warning, no payment plan, just take what they want when they want and don't offer a refund!! Absolutely disgusting!! Wish I could give 0 stars. They are not helpful or sympathetic in the slightest! Through hard times people need to look after their money and they couldn't care less! Reviewed on: 18th February 2023

impossible to get in touch with van line direct insurance and the quoted me £951- for my van insurance and then with the insurance brokers fees they charged me £1155.47 without telling me i am cancelling my insurance imediately Reviewed on: 6th February 2023

Thieving Criminals

Stole my deposit and then tried to rip me off for an increased policy of over £1000 more than quoted. These people should be jailed. Avoid like the plague. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2023

Absolutely impossible to contact

We have been trying to get hold of them to cancel our insurance for almost a month. Now requested 4 call backs, they didn’t call. Tried online chat, they said in order to cancel I have to speak to someone and someone would call…no-one called. I asked how to make a complaint, I have to call! We have now emailed an address we found online, but we're not holding our breath! Reviewed on: 11th January 2023

Awful!!!

Dreadful! took a deposit and our charity Van was left without insurance after it was escalated 3 times. They then cancelled the policy and refused to return the deposit because they offered to look at other insurers to reduce the price which went up by 50 percent from their quote....I never refused the policy they just never got back to us. Our charity lost a food donation worth hundreds of pounds and they were awful. I've been cut off, had the phone hung up, waited 40 minutes and then had the phone hung up on me. Every adviser polite and promised the world but repeatedly had no returned calls to sort it out. Worst experience i've ever had ! 8 days! On a positive I've signed up for another of the quotes and they've been awesome within an hour insured and sorted at the cost they provided on compare the market! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Scammers! I got caught out by their low deposit fee of just a few pounds. I then started getting very suspiciously dodgy text messages saying “warning! Your policy will be cancelled at midnight unless you give details. I called them to give permission to go ahead and cancel my policy, and the woman on the phone literally shouted at me. She was incredibly rude. This can not be a legit company! They then proceeded to take money out of m account, despite telling me multiple times that my policy was cancelled, and me requesting that twice on the phone Reviewed on: 25th November 2022
