VAN LINE DIRECT'S FRAUD REPORT CASE NB:  THE EMAIL miche . otto @ cvil . co . uk WHICH WAS PROVIDED TO ME BY THE VAN LINE DIRECT AGENT DOES NOT EXISTS AND HAS GIVEN A BOUNCE BACK ...   From:  Sent: 10 January 2022 20:07 To: miche . otto @ cvil . co . uk Subject: VAN LINE DIRECT'S FRAUD REPORT CASE   TO WHOM SO EVER THIS MAY CONCERN ...    ESCALATE THIS EMAIL TO HIGHER MANAGEMENT / LEGAL TEAM / CEO = OF THE FRAUD COMPANY - VAN LINE DIRECT ...    VAN LINE DIRECT IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY, WHICH IS TRICKING IT'S CUSTOMERS INTO FALLING VICTIMS TO A VAN LINE DIRECTS WEBSITE WHICH IS DESIGNED ON PURPOSE TO CON THE CUSTOMERS ...     I HAVE PROOF OF SCREEN SHOTS OF MY LAPTOP : -  &  I HAVE PROOF OF RECORDED VIDEOS OVER THE PHONE : -   WHILE I WAS FILLING OUT THE DETAILS ON THE VAN LINE DIRECTS WEBSITE ...   THE PROOF'S SHOW HOW VAN LINE DIRECTS WEBSITE IS DESIGNED TO CON CUSTOMERS INTO FALLING PREY TO VAN LINE DIRECTS FRAUDULENT TECHNICS INTO CONNING THE CUSTOMERS ...   I TOOK THE POLICY 3 TIMES AND CANCELLED IT 3 TIMES ... AND ALL THE 3 POLICIES, THE VAN LINE DIRECT AGENTS ACCUSED ME OF TELLING LIES FORCING THIS ACCUSATION ON ME THAT I DID NOT UPDATE THE WEBSITE PROPERLY ...   ALL THE 3 TIMES I HAVE REPEATEDLY TOLD THE VAN LINE DIRECT AGENTS THAT I WORK IN I.T. THE VAN LINE DIRECT AGENTS STILL ACCUSED ME THAT I DID NOT FILL   THE PAPERWORK OF THE 3 CANCELLED POLICIES WAS NEVER SENT TO ME TO MY EMAIL TO CONFIRM ABOUT THE CANCELLATION ...   I HAD TO DEMAND THAT THESE 3 CANCELLED POLICY DOCUMENTS BE SEN TO ME VIA EMAIL ..   ALL THE AGNETS WHO WORK FOR VAN LINE DIRECT ARE RUDE AND HAVE NO PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL ...   THE AGNETS = ARGUE + DISCONNECT THE CALL WITHOUT NOTIFYING WHICH IS A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TELEPHONE ETIQUETTE + PUT THE CUSTOMER ON HOLD WITHOUT NOTIFYING WHICH IS A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TELEPHONE ETIQUETTE    THIS CASE WILL BE RAISED TO OMBUDSMAN & CITIZENS ADVISE AND WILL ASLO BE POSTED ON VAN LINE DIRECTS & COMPARE THE MARKETS GOOGLE REVIEW THAT VAN LINE DIRECTS IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY ..,    SUCH COMPANIES NEED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE COURT OF LAW AND SHOULD FACE ACCOUNTABILITY & CONSEQUENCES ..     SO,   GET YOUR HIGHER MANAGEMENT / LEGAL TEAM / CEO TO REPLY TO THIS EMAIL    FROM RICHARD ALPHONSO Reviewed on: 10th January 2022

Check T&C's - unreasonable cancellation fees

First year of cover was fine, however the policy was set to auto-renew (by default) and the premium increased by 37% for no reason. I called to cancel the policy and was informed I would be charged £45 to cancel the policy even though it had yet to start. Customer Services were blunt to the point of being rude and simply referred me to their T&C's. On closer inspection of the Van Line Direct T&C's the Statement of Price states: Your total annual price is £769.46, this price is made up of: The insurer annual premium of £290.66 and a policy administration fee of £453.80. So the administration fee far outweighs the insurance premium! Take my advice and don't insure with these con artists! Reviewed on: 24th September 2021
