Appalling customer service

Received my card statement today 31st. Bank shut. Don't do on line. They want payment by 7.1.23 Says it takes 5 working days to process. Isn't open till Tues. Wasn't interested in listening to me asking if I'll get charged a late payment fee. Reviewed on: 31st December 2022

Caveat Emptor

I had a Clydesdale Bank Credit Card for Decades and A new Virgin Money card was forced upon me as the Bank was enforcing new Virgin Money cards. I made a couple of errors when the new card arrived by forgetting key questions. I am a visual Dyslexic. It happens. Then the you know what hit the fan with the new Imperious company looking after Virgin Money Credit Cards. I might like to add, my Credit Card was in credit to the tune of £59. odds. Not thousands in dept. Then the address the card was registered to was a problem, it was my work. I produced all of the evidence and 29 documents from Virgin Money addressed to me at my work address, they also emailed me at my works address frequently but that was still an issue for them. Please be extremely cautious with this inhumane organisation, and if you at all have special needs, go elsewhere. I contacted the CEO of Virgin multiple times and this was useless also. I am getting my money back, but it has taken over 12 weeks and they are still unhappy. I will never have another Virgin money Credit Card, I am a Businessman who requires a bank that is more open and willing to support customers. The disturbing thing is my account was in credit. But they kept whinging about reporting to credit sources. I was in credit not debit. For over a decade my Credit card was addressed to my working address. Caveat Emptor. easy set up even for a pensioner.

I am 78 years old and needed a card to use abroad with zero foreign currency exchange charges. Saga discontinued my Saga card several years ago and as my wife already had the Halifax Clarity card I needed a different one in case one cards gets lost or stolen on holiday. I downloaded the app from the App Store on my iphone and it was easy peasy. You need a bit of paper to hand to make a note of your username (this can be your email), a password, a six digit numerical passcode and some details from your credit card. Only 4 stars because I haven't used it yet but so far looks good. I did try a Tandem credit card which was excellent but then they started charging a monthly fee so I cancelled it. They claimed it was a benefit to me as the interest rates were lower than other banks but as I always pay off my balance in full each month this was of no benefit to me. I just hope that Virgin don't start charging a fee for their card. Reviewed on: 14th December 2022

Balance transfer sent to someone else 55 days later still not had no money to correct card

Took out card on phone .filled in all details .all were correct .At end screen went blank Came back on and said request completed ..Checked credit card balance transfer should of gone too nothing there transfered. Phoned on numerous occasions. Everytime they say 'it's been recalled as went to someone else .' 55 days later still no money and I'm having to pay them money for I haven't received .fobbed off every time .terrible service .Nothing gets sorted , sent complaint to customer relations and still nothing .at witts end . Do Not Entertain !

This company is an absolute joke and I would never recommend using them for anything. I received my credit card from them. Downloaded the App from Google Play store put in the information to activate the card and nothing, could not get beyond the summary screen showing the information I had inputted. Uninstalled the App and reinstalled the App 3 times, same on each occasion. Spent 1 hr trying to contact someone in Customer Services, nobody ever answered. Sent emails to the addresses provided by VM, all bounced back. reached out on Twitter and Facebook - no response. This was all yesterday so today I though I will give it one last go. Downloaded the App again, same result. Rang Customer Services and this time did manage to speak to a human. The lady tried to suggest it may be an issue with my phone but as I pointed out, how come I can use HSBC online banking, Barclaycard online, you name it, I can use it but not VM App. Was not able to solve the issue so I told VM to cancel the card. Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely non-existent customer service, archaic banking app, complete lack of security and processes that take weeks to fulfil. Currently trying to get a refund for a purchase I made from a company that are now in administration - the website advises I send a letter with print outs of the emails I've recieved alongside my credit card number. They don't take security seriously

Waiting over 2 months to 'unlock' my account despite sending ID via mail multiple times and going into a branch to get it sorted. Also I'm on the phone now, waiting over 40 minutes just to speak to their credit card team. Can't wait to cancel my credit card with them and boycott virgin forever.
