Good insurance at a good price

Admiral Insurance Medical Repirt ftkm GP fir çksim is a trawl through medical records wholly unrelated to the condition giving rise to the claim. They say they want to see what my health was like when the policy was taken out - 9months ago! Why go back 2 years? Dishonest and deceitful. Very disappointed by Admiral travel insurance. I’ve had good experiences with their home and car insurance but the travel insurance was absolutely useless when I had a problem while abroad. Reviewed on: 5th June 2023

They are a nightmare to get in touch with

They are impossible to get in touch with for travel insurance claims over 2 hrs waiting to speak to someone only to be told you are threw to car insurance then another wait impossible company to deal with wish I never used adrenal they just stress you out Reviewed on: 24th May 2023

Scam like renewal

On their website they have no option to cancel their travel insurance policy. And they tried to scam you with a renewal. They actually took payment and renewed me a whole week before the old policy was about to end. Reviewed on: 1st May 2023

AVOID! They don't pay out for claims!!

Avoid this company! I wish I could give them less than one star as they are a complete waste of money and a joke! If you are thinking of buying travel insurance do not use this company, as you will not receive a penny if you need to claim. I have a gold annual travel insurance with Admiral, and have never had to claim until our flights from Croatia to France were cancelled due to strikes less than a day before we were meant to fly. With no alternative flights offered by our airline and no compensation offered we had to rebook new flights. Since returning home; Admiral although stating on their own website that flights cancelled due to strikes and additional cost are covered under the policy, have refused to pay out any money. They have not been in contact at all during the process via phone or email and have just rejected and closed the claim stating they don't cover this and that they are unable to help. What is the point in travel insurance if cancelled flights are not covered? They are the most unhelpful company, and will try to avoid paying out at all costs, save yourself the hassle and choose a different insurance company. Garbage

Attempted to make a claim due to the death of my father whilst on holiday, I was only looking to recover the cost of emergency flights and not the four lost days of the holiday but have been met with perpetual 30 day review period ever since, the original claim was 5th September and have still had no resolution and zero empathy along the way. I have been a frequent traveller for 30 years and this is the first claim I have ever had to make, I now find myself questioning the point of taking insurance out at all, however one thing is for sure and that is I will avoid all Admiral products and recommend friends and family do the same. Appalling Service

Had to cancel Holiday at last minute due to a serious accident. Put Claim in immediately. Waited 30 working days to contact Admiral to be told it was only 28days! Rang 3 days later and someone was going to ring me back in 3-5 days. No one did. Rang after 6 days and Morgan admitted they were out of time and he'd ring me back in an hour or two. He didn't. Rang later same day and they've left a message for Morgan to ring me back tomorrow. Tried to complain, but ended up back in Claims section and after getting nowhere the Admiral rep suggested I hang up and she'll call me straight back. She hasn't and I'm writing this Review while I'm waiting. Worse service I've ever encountered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, pay more if needs be. Reviewed on: 20th April 2023

I took out the annual travel insurance and suffered a small accident whilst travelling n December. It was a very simple claim and despite having submitted all the relevant paperwork I am still waiting for payment (a relatively small amount in £'s) Admiral are virtually impossible to contact, every interaction via the website results in a email saying it will take them 30 working days to review. I have recieved an email agreeing to my claim but that was over a month ago and i still have not been paid. I rang then a week ago, having waited 30 minutes to get through I asked for someone to ring me back and am still waiting to hear! Just appalling, I dont know how to proceed and if i need to go the the financial ombudsman? I have used Admiral in the past for car insurance and never had any problems so very disapointed!
