Absolute Waste Of Time And Effort

Took out a policy to start with immediate effect, I was charged for the policy straight away but no cover note was issued and no confirmation given. I received an email the following day at 6.11pm asking to contact them or my insurance would be cancelled. I rang immediately but was not able to speak with anyone. I cancelled the policy as it was easier than trying to wait on hold and weave my way through their phone system. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

untrustworthy

received a competitive quote for car insurance, which I then bought. Upon receiving my paperwork it was apparent the Adrian Flux had inputted the wrong detail about the age of my car, so I rang them so that they could amend the details. At this point I was advised that my policy cost would now be more than doubled ! I Cancelled , and am awaiting my refund. I'm hoping that they don't refund so I can launch a court claim against them. Never insured, cancelled my policy and kept the deposit

Last week, I was coned by these fraudsters, I had a quote through GoCompare.com, received an email call us back, I then called to basically go through a quote again, Karen (lady on the phone) with a very patronising tone.. do you want 5000 or 8000 miles, where are you going to park overnight, why this -why that etc.. even when, I put all these details on the comparison site. this lady sounded very young with very poor negotiation skills-talking to me as she was my manager-mum (don't know of what) she-they decided to cancel my insurance policy- I never got any policy documents or the policy was never in force as I was planning getting with a least two weeks in advance, I lost my deposit eve where they were the ones that cancelled it- being the victimed here put my new insurance policy by extra £420.. sad that they are people like that acting under the gov regulations doing things as they pleased. I would suggest you do not deal with these people, they lady-business approach is cold and ruthless, taking that things are very hard these days for everyone.. Very Misleading sales staff

Absolute con merchants! Took out second policy during transition from old van to new while removing racking and livery etc. quoted £452 for years policy and paid £67 deposit, sales person told me there would be small cancellation fee when i cancelled £25-35! ive just been on phone for almost an hour and they insist i have another £122.71 to pay so 2 weeks and 3 days cover has cost me over £190! Appalling Service from Adrian Flux

Was not happy with terms of agreed value on my cars so tried to cancel my car insurance in the 30 day grace period. Was unable to get my phone call answered, waited over 30minutes at times still did not answer. Tried to email them but email did not go which appeared to be a deliberate ploy. Now forced to send them a recorded delivery letter to cancel policy and I shall be reporting this company to the ombudsman. They are a disgrace. Reviewed on: 28th July 2023

Do not use. Nightmare to set up a simple insurance agreement. Made up future charges which weren’t accurate at £100+. Didn’t support completion of additional documents (which weren’t made aware of at the time of purchase) and were told were needed for the policy to be valid, so ended up paying for an insurance we couldn’t rely on. No reply to emails. Lengthy phone call just to cancel and find a more reliable insurer. Reviewed on: 12th July 2023

Condescending customer service agent who needs to learn some soft skills

When I spoke to Adrian Flux for learner driver insurance for my son, the lady I spoke to was fantastic and very helpful and I took out a policy for my son. So why the one star review you may ask? Things changed the day my son passed his driving test and I phoned to get a new quote in my son's name. The guy that answered the phone was arrogant and the quote he provided was, in my opinion far too expensive. When I told him what my son's budget was, he asked if my son was in the room and could I put the phone on loudspeaker which I did. I couldn't believe it when the agent said - and I quote. "Well if that's all you have in your budget you'd be better off selling your car because you won't get anywhere near that price!" Well guess what? Not only did we get near my son's budget we actually got insurance from another company where 'Every Little Helps' for under his budget. For the arrogance and pressurised sales experience I had I would never recommend Adrian Flux to anyone. AVOID ADRIAN FLUX

Took out caravan insurance on line. They took my money and then sent me an email saying they needed more information to validate the insurance. I've never been asked for more information like this in many years of taking out caravan insurance. I then spent a couple of hours trying to get them the right information about the caravan storage site, and decided that to avoid the hassle I'd like to cancel. Even though I'd only paid a couple of hours earlier, and the policy wasn't due to start for a couple of weeks, they wanted to charge £55, on a £122 premium! I ended up having to pay more on the premium rather than take the £55 hit. Hope I never have to make a claim, as I can only see that going one way. AVOID. Awful attitude to customers, and wouldn't trust them one bit. Reviewed on: 18th May 2023

Good service and good price

I called them last year got a quote but was only a few quid cheaper then my current insurer so renewed with them. However this year gave them another call and got a cheaper rate and was impressed with the professionalism so took it out with them. Would definitely recommend Reviewed on: 11th February 2023

They will rob you blind

Do not use this company iam not paying Adrian flux after what they have done to me. I am not paying their money after I agreed on a different price. I told them I would pay £190 a month half an hour later they told me it would be £220 a month there in the wrong or not and I am taking this further this is not fair there are multi-million pound business and they're trying to make a man who struggles to pay everyday living and they want the amount of £587.69 to which I can't afford and also did not agree to! I would put my hands up if I was in the wrong but I'm not in this case I told them I would pay the cancellation fee and that was it but then being greedy that wasn't enough k for Android Reviewed on: 7th February 2023
