Friend with benefits

Amex platinum cashback credit card means you can save while you spend and the added bonus are the many offers tailored to your account to save on a wide range of products and services. Reviewed on: 24th December 2016

Fabulous rewards

Amex is fabulous for their rewards! We have received loads of M&S vouchers since getting an Amex credit card...just make sure you pay it off in full each month!! Reviewed on: 21st March 2017

Cashback

My Amex card gives me 1% cashback on all of my spending on the card. So the more I spend, the more I save. It doesn't add up to much over the course of a month but every little helps Reviewed on: 3rd March 2017

Normally a fan...

Tried to cancel a card, but as I no longer have the card...was told I had to write in. When asked if I could cancel via a secure message (I still have access to my online account), I was told that wasn't possible...tried it anyway, and my request has been accepted. Asking me to write in to cancel is unacceptable in this day and age. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Excellent credit card company

A very easy credit card, and a fantastic online service that allows you to manage your card completely online, even to view your pin if necessary. The annual statements are also very useful. Reviewed on: 4th February 2017

Great service, great perks - fly first class for less

I took up a BA Amex card two years ago, and the service is great. The app makes paying the bill so easy. The customer service call team are always helpful, efficient and go out of their way to help. For example, I called from New York to say I'll be abroad and I'd like to use my card - the agent asked if I had any further travel, and on the same call updated my card for the next three foreign trips. I used my companion voucher and we flew first class with BA to Barbados for less than £500 return. Now that's a perk of spending on a credit card Reviewed on: 1st February 2017
