Affordable and Effective

Very good pricing and I have never had a cause to complain about the insurance company. Reviewed on: 22nd July 2019

Good Value

Really easy to take out cover and customise to your requirements. good cover fore a good price. Plus as a Co-op member you get points towards your dividend. Also now and again new customers get £* in coop food vouchers. Over all a very good value. I have not needed to claim yet so I can't comment on their claims performance. Reviewed on: 21st July 2019

Avoid it...

The worst car insurance in the UK !!! I am awaiting my excess back for over 5 months. All the information needed was provided on my part. The other party took it to court and was found guilty, the case is closed, liability determined by court, but I still don't have my money back. I called Aviva and found out that they are also awaiting some information, but Coop never spoke to them in the last 4 months hence being chased Aviva on daily basis. I am a victim but I can not get my money back. You all avoid this Co-Op Insurance Company!!! Reviewed on: 21st June 2019

AVOID !!!!

Don't bother they have messed my no claims up

Really bad the cant be bothered to do any thing if you have a accident so jest don't bother you jest go threw to different departments and they take your no claims away before any thing with out telling you never have I experienced this before don't bother Reviewed on: 3rd June 2019

Charged £35 to cancel insurance just 6 days after I bought it and it hadn't even started yet

Bought Co-Op insurance and paid a £160 deposit. Cancelled it literally just 6 days later before it started and still had to pay £35 admin fee. What is that £35 for? Any other place just gives a full refund, as they haven't provided any kind of service. Such a scam. Reviewed on: 8th March 2019

Read the policy

Insured 3.0 SD V6 SE auto 2019 Discovery with co-op eco insurance, by amending my policy from previous Discovery. Policy emailed to me - referred to the new car ( same model description as above ) as 255bhp. I tried explaining to co-op that the car is 306bhp - no such thing as 255bhp. They said they couldn’t insure me on a 306 bhp - like talking to a brick. I gave up cancelled and got cheaper elsewhere. I’d have been driving uninsured on a non existent car according to the ‘advisor’ Appalling Reviewed on: 1st March 2019

A fairly good insurance but could give the extras free to loyal customers

I have been with co-op insurance for years and on the whole am fairly satisfied with them they are reasonably priced and deal with any issues quick and efficiently but I don’t like that after all these years they ask for extra money for all the extras such as breakdown etc for loyal customers this should be included as an incentive to stay with them but unfortunately they don’t think this way although I would recommend them to family and friends and have done but I think recommendations should also be rewarded.
