over priced shop around

i have been with this insurer for years and have six years no claims bonus imagine my shock when my renewal price came in at a whopping £860 was this amount for a jag or an aston martin no it was for a ford fiesta zetec 1215cc 5 door harcback, i figured i should be able to shave a couple of hundred quid off this by shopping around, i went to a reputable company which even threw in no claims bonus protection and AA roadside assistanse and recovery the price?, £330 that is a massive saving of £530 for a 15mins online search so a big thu,mbs down for co-op eco insurance. Joke of a company over charging!!

After being with them years, nearly 10 years no claims. They charge me £65 to change address and £227 to change car! Same engine size as before, 15 years old, nothing new. Absolutely ridiculous. They send faulty products and will do the absolute minimum to assist anything you need help with! After 8 calls and on each time asking to up date my email address they failed to do so and offered absolute minimal help installing the Theo box and would not send anyone out to help. The prime example of corporate arrogance as long as they are ticking boxes for themselves. Reviewed on: 12th November 2022

Very bad company. Nil points!!

Rude staff; high premiums; removing your no claims, even after not making a claim, then struggling to get heard! No added extras included in policy. Everyone please do NOT use them. I use 1st Insurance. Cheaper, added extras on the policy and brilliant reviews. If people stop using CO OPERATIVE (the only "co operative" part about them is between them and profit margins). Hopefully their Insurance business will be ended by other and better competing companies! Even after reading bad reviews, noticed that Co "Profit Margin" Op, their complaints dept and CEOs, do not even seem to bother replying to anyone with concerns etc. That says alot! Even a tin of their baked beans would offer a better insurance cover and customer service! CEO and managers, please let your Honest Value Baked Beans manage your business. Great car insurance with £50 put on my loyalty card for taking out the car insurance. Person who delt with me over the phone when taking out the insurance explained everything to me and couldn't have been more helpful, also did not have to wait long before my call was answered, what a difference compared to some other companies Reviewed on: 10th October 2022

Competitively priced & ethical

The co-op insurance was one of the cheaper quotes of well known insurers. They are trying to offset our carbon footprint with their insurance. They're a fair brand so I have high hopes Reviewed on: 15th September 2022

Great customer service

We need to use the windscreen cover to replace the front windshield. The company recommended by the coop damaged the front camera when they replaced the glass. This meant various safety features such as drivers assist and cruise control no longer worked. The company responsible tried to claim the fault had nothing to do with their work. We contacted the coop and they not only compelled the installers to replace the camera but also offered us a payment in compensation for the inconvenience this caused. It was basically a case of the windscreen fitters word against ours and it was a pleasant surprise to have the support of the insurers who dealt with the situation quickly and without any fuss.
