over priced shop around

i have been with this insurer for years and have six years no claims bonus imagine my shock when my renewal price came in at a whopping £860 was this amount for a jag or an aston martin no it was for a ford fiesta zetec 1215cc 5 door harcback, i figured i should be able to shave a couple of hundred quid off this by shopping around, i went to a reputable company which even threw in no claims bonus protection and AA roadside assistanse and recovery the price?, £330 that is a massive saving of £530 for a 15mins online search so a big thu,mbs down for co-op eco insurance.
