The best sales staff ever

At 83 years old l have had over55 years of insuring cars and l have never experienced such a good service from the sales staff. they were Caroline,Tracy,Denzil and the other man l have forgot his name.All these members of staff were so knowledgeable,polite and helpful.In fact they have restored my faith in the human race.To get 4 members of staff that were that good could not be a coincidence so l must presume that the majority of staff are similar,no one could be better than those 4 people.Well done all of you and to top it all l got a fantastic price far better than the company l had been with for many many years. Co-Op Insurance never pay out

I bought Travel insurance with Co Op I specifically checked I would be covered if I had to cancel my holiday, they confirmed I would be covered categorically. I booked a holiday which I had to cancel due to ill health, Co- Op refused to pay out even though it was clearly covered, stay away they never pay out. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026

I really enjoyed watching this one.

I really enjoyed watching this one. The motives and the way they embellish the individual stories of all party's involved keeps you second guessing yourself a few times. Same postcode wrong house number cannot get the car...

Same postcode wrong house number cannot get the car insurance!!!This is ridiculous!Some more do charged me handling fees £35 for cancellation the 5 minutes policy haven’t due yet!Never ever will buy any insurance with them!!! Reviewed on: 6th May 2025

Had trouble finding telephone number for co-op car insurance didn't know there was more than one company.Eventually got through to someone to say we wanted to change vehicle it's paid on a monthly installment.We was told it's going from £33 per month to over £100 a month and the annual renewal would be over £1000 having been with the company for over 10 years found it to be unbelievable as having already checked on compare web site and got quotes for about £360 so told the co-op we would cancel policy and was then told £50 cancellation fee not satisfied with charging astronomical price which we didn't go with then charged £50 for cancelling.New policy taken out with compare the market charges £10 for cancelling policy. Just rang co-op car insurance to inform them that I...

Just rang co-op car insurance to inform them that I now have points on my licence for speeding. Was appalled that I was immediately charged £25 administrative fees. Is this common practice or have I been scammed. I’ll be going elsewhere for my insurance next time. Reviewed on: 21st February 2024

Breakdown Policy Issue

Bought a car breakdown policy in January but when my vehicle broke down on 11th December and I rang to arrange recovery, no one could find my policy on the system. Spent 4 hours being transferred to various departments and being cut off by customer services teams who either didn't understand the issue or just sounded completely fed up when I spoke to them. Transferred to several departments and given numerous phone numbers to try to verify my policy. Eventually tried the sales team who advised the problem was because they hadn't recorded my home post code on the policy. Won't be renewing my policy again, absolutely dreadful customer service and all caused by an issue with Coop not setting my account details up correctly. Luckily I was parked in a safe place or could have been much worse. At 5.45pm was told that recovery truck would be with me about 9.46pm. Was rang by Coop / AXA Assist to say we could have a taxi home and the car would be collected later and to leave the car key with the pub staff. Taxi arrived quickly and got us home about 9pm. Recovery company rang at 12.05am to say they had only just arrived with the car and could only bring the car back as the pub had closed so couldn't get the car key! Car arrived back home at 2am, 11 hours after I first tried to contact someone to get the car recovered. Reported missing car key to Coop/ AXA Assist at 11.30am on 12th December and almost 24 hours later and 8 phone calls, I'm still waiting for customer services to contact me to get my car key back!
