Review of the Co-op Insurance, Car Insurance:

A fairly good insurance but could give the extras free to loyal customers

I have been with co-op insurance for years and on the whole am fairly satisfied with them they are reasonably priced and deal with any issues quick and efficiently but I don’t like that after all these years they ask for extra money for all the extras such as breakdown etc for loyal customers this should be included as an incentive to stay with them but unfortunately they don’t think this way although I would recommend them to family and friends and have done but I think recommendations should also be rewarded. Would not renew policy after 40 years due to rear windows being tinted

Tried to renew my husband's policy after 40 years with the company. Because we had the rear windows tinted they would not renew. We could not even pay an extra premium. Reviewed on: 13th November 2017

Good ethical insurance provider

I can't fault the Co-op and the p[ackage and price they offer for car insurance. It's fairly comprehensive (!) and covers all my needs. I especially appreciate having exrensive breakdown cover included for a small additional fee. Reviewed on: 1st October 2017

Good customer service

I've been with co-operative for a number of years because they always come up with the best price for my car insurance and if they don't I give them a ring, have a chat with a friendly advisor and they lower the price for me. Can't ask for more than that. Reviewed on: 1st October 2017

Value for money

Read the small print

Beware that if you miss a payment that you will be charged £20 over and above your monthly premium. Don't think I'll be renewing my policy when the the time comes.... Reviewed on: 13th May 2017

Dont touch this company

Please dont touch this company your be sorry

I had policy for 11 years which i had 9 years no claims bonus the company stopped my insurance with out letting me know to con me so now restarted it but only give me 5 years no claims discount and they got proof of what i had and still say i cant have it they are defrauding the public please dont use this company read all the reviews Reviewed on: 28th April 2017

Let me down

I don't like any car insurance company if I'm being honest, we are with Diamond at the moment but have to change every year as everyone I've been with hike up their prices,, I will say though cooperative were good for offering a 3 year fixed price but then they let me down by cancelling my policy and trying to make me start all over again with an increased quote when one of my direct debits failed due to me changing bank accounts, I even phoned them up to pay it the day after Reviewed on: 27th February 2017
