Brilliant switch service

I really like how Halifax handled the switch service ! They did this quickly and efficiently . You can easily track all your pending payments and transactions . User friendly app and easy to manage payments and transfer money to others Reviewed on: 1st February 2023

Simple current account

Simple, straightforward current account. Local branch has very friendly and helpful staff. Reviewed on: 12th January 2019

Monthly Bonus

Halifax has reduced its monthly bonus from £5 down to £3 and now down to £2 which has made me open an account with another bank whereby I get monthly interest on my balance. Reviewed on: 11th January 2019

Easy interner banking

Great customer service

Actually Listen

The Halifax makes banking easy

I find the online banking easy to use and reliable. I am reminded by text how much I have in my account to make sure I have enough money t cover direct debits. This is very helpful indeed. The staff in my local bank in Penzance are efficient freindly and very helpful. Reviewed on: 6th January 2019

They do not care in the slightest

If I could dump them I would, when I was self employed and trying to establish a business they were worse than useless, I couldn’t in all honesty recommend anyone to bank with HBOS. I’ve been a customer of theirs since the 1980s and I am good at managing my finances but they don’t take that into account.
