A local building society worth supporting.

I've received very good service when visiting in person and also by telephone. I think the online service is efficient and easy to set up and use. I have an instant access savings account which suits my needs. The interest rates are in line with many other financial services although some do pay a higher rate of interest. HEBS Savings

HEBS started with a very good Iterest Rate, but then fell behind. If you don't include the reference no while transferring the money, your money woudn't be credited to your account (fair enough), but once sorted, you won't get the Interest on it for those days even if the money was with the Society.
