Real world decisions by real human beings

From start to finish the HRBS have been thorough, friendly and personable. It always felt like someone was listening and we were never left feeling in the dark. Much as there are "High Street" lenders that offer arguably better rates, from experience, I would always prefer a slightly higher rate in exchange for this level of first class service. Good product but very slow

The mortgage product is a great fit for us but the process to get the re-mortgage was extremely slow taking over 5 months to complete. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022

Good Product

Product is exactly what I wanted but initially slow to progress. Once this was recognised by the society things improved. In the end, due to solicitor delays, the mortgage offer was forthcoming in plenty of time. Reviewed on: 20th December 2021

A reminder how great banking once was.

Having just moved into our lovely new house thanks to a mortgage from Hinckley & Rugby of course I’m going to be happy with the service. However beyond the result, what mattered to me during the process and let’s face it getting a mortgage is daunting, is I was reassured on numerous occasions that they were there to help. It was a really personal experience whereby I never felt that they were there to trip me up but support me. Very very friendly staff who were on my side. If your looking for a computer says no mortgage these aren’t your guys. If you are looking for real people to help and support you through the process then you are in the right place. Is it quick, no it isn’t but then when a business sees you as a person and not a number then that personal touch isn’t going be quick. Reviewed on: 16th December 2021
