No little fish looked after

Charges High but service good

I have been with Lloyds for 12 years now and on the whole have been happy. I've easily been able to increase and decrease my overdraft as desired. I haven't been bombarded with attempts to sell me other products and their online banking app is fantastic. Quick and easy to use. The only issue I've ever had was when my account was hacked and emptied out. I did get my money back eventually but it was quite a slow process. Since then I think they have improved security because I entered my card details incorrectly once on a website and they temporarily blocked my account incase it was fraudulent which is good. If you ever need to phone customer services it can be quite slow getting through, but once you do the guys on the other end are always really polite and helpful. The charges for having an overdraft are quite high though. Reviewed on: 5th February 2017

Good and bad points

I have had a mixture of good and bad experiences with Lloyds bank... once they accidentally took away my overdraft leaving me short for a few days but after sorting it out in the bank and over the phone they reimbursed me for hassle, phone calls etc and haven't had issues again. Their iPhone app is one of the best that I've used and very useful to have. Reviewed on: 5th February 2017

We were wanting to open up a savings account for our 3 children. We rang to make an appointment and we got the appointment within a couple of days. We arrived early and did not have to wait long and we were seen before our appointment time. Very helpful member of staff,went through all our options with no pressure of taking a certain account. We did not feel rushed, everything was explained so it was easy to understand. We opened the accounts that day and paying in to our childrens accounts is really easy and takes seconds with online banking Reviewed on: 3rd February 2017

Long-standing Lloyds Customer!

I've been a long standing customer of Lloyds since I was in my early teens and I'm now nearly 30 and I wouldn't change bank. I have had a current account, plus various other products over the years and Lloyds have always dealt with me and my products in a good professional manner. My only gripe is that interest rates are low , but I understand this is a sector wide issue. I will continue to use Lloyds as I feel confident in the company. Reviewed on: 1st February 2017
