Great for normal customer

For a normal basic day to day customer lloyds are great. I was hesitant when lloyds and tsb separated but so far so good. I have only ever had one issue with lloyds and they apologied and compensated me. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Easy to use online, Fair rates

I use this bank as my main account and it is easy to log in, transfer money ect. Rates aren't the best but all current accounts are about the same these days! Reviewed on: 10th February 2017

Professiinal bank and friendly staff

Someone always there on hand to help with anything, had a couple of issues throughout my banking years with them and have been dealt with efficiently in a superb time scale. Very friendly staff, a few who go above and beyond to help without prompting. Overall great bank and fantastic service Reviewed on: 10th February 2017

Lloyds is good although the only branch in Brighton is not very accessible

Since Lloyds split from TSB, it has only one branch which is quite a walk from the centre of town which is inconvenient on the occasions I need to go into the branch Reviewed on: 9th February 2017

Charges High but service good

I have been with Lloyds for 12 years now and on the whole have been happy. I've easily been able to increase and decrease my overdraft as desired. I haven't been bombarded with attempts to sell me other products and their online banking app is fantastic. Quick and easy to use. The only issue I've ever had was when my account was hacked and emptied out. I did get my money back eventually but it was quite a slow process. Since then I think they have improved security because I entered my card details incorrectly once on a website and they temporarily blocked my account incase it was fraudulent which is good. If you ever need to phone customer services it can be quite slow getting through, but once you do the guys on the other end are always really polite and helpful. The charges for having an overdraft are quite high though. Reviewed on: 5th February 2017

Good and bad points

I have had a mixture of good and bad experiences with Lloyds bank... once they accidentally took away my overdraft leaving me short for a few days but after sorting it out in the bank and over the phone they reimbursed me for hassle, phone calls etc and haven't had issues again. Their iPhone app is one of the best that I've used and very useful to have. Reviewed on: 5th February 2017
