Cup of tea and a friendly face

Nothing Special chasing the Horses tail!

A reduction in overdraft when TSB was dropped...higher bank charges we had to slop. A brighter branch with silly TVs...I am just concerned about the fees!. One bit of tech that has good spec,is the machine that lets you deposit cheques ! Reviewed on: 30th December 2015

Poor Customer Service

I had this account for a few years and was perfectly happy with them until a sudden job loss saw risk of bank charges, the web site was temperamental and being unable to use a telephone I was unable to cancel any outgoing payments. The lack of consistent services such as online banking was an issue for me because of my disability, this translates to a poor overall service and the bank showed absolutely no concern over this when I raised a complaint. Lloyd's Classic Account made purchasing items and life online a lot easier. I have had no trouble with their set-up and I have been comfortable with my credit card as Lloyd's have been great about communication and giving me information. I would recommend Lloyd's as they know which is the appropriate Credit for you and they can suggest the right way and time frame for all kinds of payments. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Great Product, Sales not so great

I received a quite scary voicemail on the day of my nans funeral saying there was an urgent issue and I needed to go to the branch straight away. I left my grieving parents to go to the branch to see what the issue was. I had previously been frauded and my account emptied and I was scared this had happened again. However when I got to the branch they said my account was fine but they wished to talk to me about a Loan I was eligible for. I was not in the market for a loan, if I had been I would have gone into the branch at a time suitable and asked for information. I was very upset and when I explained the voicemail and the day it was the staff were apologietic but said that offering services was part of their job. As I had previous good experience in regards to this account I have given it 2 stars for improvement If I hadn't have had good experience in the past it would have been a 1 star and I would have left the bank the next day. A reliable service

They are environmentally friendly and were one of the first banks to stop sending paper statements. I am always kept up to date with my account and changing overdraft. The online services are very well laid out. Reviewed on: 24th November 2015
