Stupid, childish bank manager.

When I first moved to London I found the Lloyds bank was right at the top of Kilburn High Road and I worked at the other end so I decided I would close the account and use Midland now HSBC instead. I had an interview with the bank manager who insisted he must keep I think it was £50 which was a lot to me in 1984 just in case I owed them money. I did not owe them had never owed them and I made this clear and asked him to look at my record for the decade before. He got very nasty and snooty and left me without any money for the rest of the month totally unnecessarily and as predicted had to return the entire sum. I was young, intimidated and have never changed my opinion of this bank or their pathetic boorish manager. Reviewed on: 15th November 2016

Good account but can't support anymore

Have always been a customer from a young age but as I got older, I have got wiser and can't support a bank that has connections with the oil & Gas industry. Fracking in particular is something Lloyd's support and this will do a lot of damage to the planet and we should be doing everything we can to fight Climate change, not go backwards. No more hard selling

Often used to get offers to review my account when popping in to pay in cash or cheques, but it seems that this hard selling has now ceised which is good. I don't have any issues with my local branch and I operate all my accounts mostly online, which is convenient Reviewed on: 14th November 2016

An honest service

Lloyds Bank have provided me with a good service even after bad credit and financial problems with my ex who stole and gambled my money. They have always been very understanding. Also, what they offer is simple to use. I have an account for my daughter with them now too. Very happy with them. Reviewed on: 14th November 2016

Totally dishonest employees

Over 8 hours and 20 calls speaking to 32 colleagues and not one call back as promised! No monies refunded I have been called a liar and a thief and hung up on by managers claiming to be honest and professional even though all my calls are recorded and I can prove they are lying and they are trying to question my honesty! good service but dace to dace in branches is still hard selling

I do most of my banking online, but every time I go into the branch for cheque paying in etc, there is still an element of "oh mrs X would you like to have a financial review" Am very aware they "Have" to offer this, but its a pain because I dont want to be hassled. Reviewed on: 10th October 2016

Lloyds bank is amazing

Services offered by this bank are extremely helpful. I have never been upset with anything and I have learnt more by banking with Lloyds for 3 years now. Reliable, the 'Good Friend' of banks

Staff are knowledgeable and always on hand to answer questions professionally and with technical language that is appropriate to each and every person. As a recent graduate, I have been able to get into contact with the bank regarding my account and they have been able to give me advice and support. I have always had a Lloyds Bank account and I would not consider changing. They are trustworthy and reliable, just like an old friend. Reviewed on: 30th June 2016
