Wasting time because of misinformation

I called Lloyds to sort out a reference that I needed to open a bank account in Malta. I was told one thing by one customer service agent and then another thing by another customer service agent. This happened twice. Lloyds gave me compensation for phone calls and time wasted but these things shouldnt have happened in the first place. Customer service should know what they are doing. They turned round poor service into a super experience

I had reason to complain about poor service. However as soon as the problem was highlighted the attentiveness was second to none and the issue resolved with good grace and a clear desire to put things right. The best thing? In this day and age we are always seeking to be amazed or at least not disappointed. I have been neither amazed not disappointed by the classic account. While I don't think I will ever wax lyrically about Lloyds the way some customers of First Direct seem to (about First Direct) I am not otherwise disappointed. Reviewed on: 10th October 2014

been banking with lloyds for 4 years . good customer service , dont have to wait to long on phone to speak to someone . mobile app is ok not as good since they updated it no access to direct debits or standing orders or a link to desktop site which the previous version had Reviewed on: 6th October 2014
