Great Bank

I used to have a Barclays bank account before and left them because of the bad customer service. Lloyds have been brilliant and I wouldn't change. Easy app as well. Reviewed on: 1st June 2016

Hassle free banking

Graduate account holder, interest free overdraft. Staff are always lovely whichever branch I use. Would recommend. Reviewed on: 31st May 2016

Easy to use online banking alongside current account.

The online banking app allows easy access and payment of the credit card from our current account. Never had any issues, we pay off in full each month. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2016

Dreadful bank with no sense of Loyalty to customers

I was with Lloyds for 35 years, during which time I tried to leave on myriad occasions, but was persuaded to stay each time, as they appealed to my sense of loyalty. Then one day without any explanation, they closed my account. I complained and ask for explanation, but the only one I got was that it had to do with my other nationality (I'm Persian by birth). They really are the worst bank I've ever had the misfortune of banking with. Reviewed on: 17th May 2016

Never gone anywhere else

Easy and convenient

Basic services no interest given

Recently this account has been downgraded to no interest at all. This is to encourage you to have their fee paying account. Not a good move Reviewed on: 24th April 2016

Average and Average

No special rates or facilities here, just a reduced overdraft since Lloyds dropped it's TSB partner. High tariff just for being slightly overdrawn (£6) and high interest rates. One feels they are getting their money back form bad loans and a recession started overseas...disgusting. Customer Service is OK and I like the new quick deposit machines.All very average however otherwise. Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Difficult to leave

I previously used Lloyds as my secondary current account, however I decided to close my account after I decided their product no longer suited me. In order to close the account and retrieve my remaining funds I had to visit the bank itself, where the representative I spoke to really made it hard for me to claim back my money (not sure why it couldn't just be given to me on the spot, it just seemed overly awkward). As this was a few years back I'm hoping their customer service has improved since. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016
