useless, especially for internet banking

It doesnt matter how loyal a customer you are they do not see you as an individual. The internet banking never works always shows error message. i wouldnt bother, i would go for a more up to date bank Reviewed on: 5th November 2015

Easy to use

This is the first bank account I have ever had and I am glad that it is with this company. The staff that I have met have been very professional and friendly. They also make sure that you are informed on everything that you are signing up for before the account is opened. The online banking feature is also very useful. Reviewed on: 4th November 2015

good

Good basic bank account and the staff are always helpful. Wish I could upgrade to Club Lloyds but cant as I cannot pay in enough money each month Reviewed on: 28th August 2015

Pretty Average banking

Have had a current account with Lloyds since I was a teenager, it's never really been anything other than average; no major problems and no major pluses. Reviewed on: 27th August 2015

Still staying

I have been with Lloyds bank since a child although the account name has changed. I have had no problems with Lloyds and I don't pay a monthly fee for the account. I have online banking which I prefer and a contactless debit card. I also have an authorised overdraft. I haven't noticed any changes since they changed their name either. Reviewed on: 27th August 2015

Very simple bank account to use.

I have had a bank account with Lloyds for many years although it was originally Lloyds Tsb.I cannot say I have noticed any difference since the two banks went their separate ways. The classic account is basic and I have an authorized overdraft. I can only say I have had no problems and find it easy to use. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

This no frills and no fees basic account is a good starting point, but in the long-term you'll want (and need) more.

Opening a Classic Account with Lloyds Bank was a very quick and straightforward process. I have been using this as my main bank account for over two years now and have been satisfied with the in-branch customer service, the home banking system and not having to pay monthly fees. It is a good option if you've just moved to the UK or can't get a more sophisticated account for some reason (e.g., unemployed or on a low income). When your circumstances change, you'll probably want a current account that pays decent interest and that gives you access to other perks. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

OK, but nothing special

I've had a classic account for about 10 years now and i'm fairly happy with it. It's easy enough to transfer funds between accounts with the online portal or I have used phone banking in the past and that has worked well also. I have a credit card linked to my account, but as I used the maximum amount on my card while in hospital, my card was suddenly closed which i find rather strange. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Longer than it otherwise should have been

On getting married and changing my surname my assumption had been that my bank would be one of the easier things to change; go in with copy of marriage certificate, sign something, they then change my name in a box on their system...simples, or not as it turned out. I couldn't just go in, I needed an appointment, and the first one of those they had was for two weeks later in the middle of a working day, if I had wanted something outside working hours I think it would have taken until my first wedding anniversary to get it changed! Went I finally got to go for my appointment, it was fairly painless, although they had booked me in with someone who couldn't actually complete the process and had to get others for help. Reviewed on: 25th August 2015

Very good account, no thrills, but exactly what I required.

Account was reliable, and just what I required, no thrills, but perfect for me. Reviewed on: 9th August 2015
