Bombarded

I took out this out as my first credit card, as the sign up bonus was quote good. I didn't use it much but this didn't stop them sending me endless amounts of post re: balance transfer offers and other cards which i did not need at all. I got so annoyed with all of this spam I got another card and closed this one (which was a convoluted process in itself) and would never use them again. Reviewed on: 14th June 2016

Average

Worst of the worst

This organisation is the worst of the worst. You have to go through a long process to speak to customer services, then when you do speak to them they are clueless! I think the only training they've probably had is to deceive because when it comes to maths they are THICK..If you get to talk to a senior manager it's a total waste of time because when they are put into a corner they tell you the conversation has to end and this happened to me on every occasion because I'd asked for a truthful answer to my question which they would not give me . DONT BE FOOLED BY SOME OF THE PEOPLES EXPERIANCE ON THIS SIGHT AS I CAN TELL YOU ALL THE STAFF WILL BE SUBMITTING REVIEWS BECAUSE THATS HOW TWISTED THE MANAGEMENT IS . good deals on balance transfer options

I have used my MBNA credit card for many years. I tend to use it less as an everyday credit card, instead I take advantage of the long balance transfer deals they keep sending me and use it to spread the cost of purchasing a large item. I find that it can take a while to get to speak to someone, lots of options to go through and then a reasonable wait for the call to be answered, however I do find that when I am able to eventually get through, my call is dealt with efficiently and approval granted quickly. I don't use the card as my everyday credit card as there is no loyalty points scheme and the interest rate is fairly high compared to other cards. Reviewed on: 23rd October 2016

Good value competitive rates

Great offers regular 0% balance transfer offers always friendly and helpful when ever you contact them . Best credit card provider by miles while others have increased there interest rates mbna have kept there's at an affordable level. Reviewed on: 12th September 2016

Customer service

I recently contacted the company to take up a recent offer on a balance transfer. the process was easy and the adviser explained the process fully and explained in detail how long the transfer would take. Good offer Good service highly recommended. Reviewed on: 12th September 2016

As good as the rest

In my experience with MBNA, I found that while the service and customer experience couldn't be faulted, I did have a few issues with the deals that they offered me. After being a customer of theirs for a number of years and always keeping my account in good order, I contacted them on numerous occasions about increasing my limit and even though I was told a higher limit was available to me, it never happened for some reason. I would recommend MBNA overall, I just think that they tend to concentrate and look after their new customers as opposed to the ones that have had accounts over a number of years for some reason. very good credit card on special offer of 0 % for a year on purchases, helpful staff

I got a balance transfer at 0 % and also 0 % on purchases for one year. also you can request paper statements by post as well as online only bills. Reviewed on: 30th August 2016

Checking purchases.

When checking through previous expenditure I find the MBNA Credit Card very easy to check online or over the telephone. The customer service is helpful and always polite. Any queries are dealt with promptly and quickly put your mind at ease. The card gives you confidence that it will be accepted at a large range of retailers and businesses. Easy to pay

The MBNA website is easy to navigate. I was previously using it to make my monthly payments. However, by doing this, it takes longer for the payment to be credited. I have now set up a monthly direct debit plan and this works better for me as there is no chance of forgeting to pay on time. Reviewed on: 30th August 2016
