Report Stolen Card

Trying to report stolen card? Website says call us immediately? I have been on hold for over 1 1/2 hours while someone is using the stolen card. Just Stupid! Reviewed on: 13th July 2023

Reminders are so helpful.

The various reminders to pay and the amount, plus giving plenty notice followed by a further reminder have been so very helpful when trying to make the most use of my finances and paying the credit card on time but not too soon. Reviewed on: 12th July 2023

Automatic reminders to pay is so helpful.

I find the automatic reminders to pay are very helpful, then if still not actioned another reminder is sent and when I have paid I receive an instant acknowledgement. All gives great peace of mind, especially during this cost of living crisis. Reviewed on: 10th June 2023

Easy to understand, no nonsense

I've had an MBNA Credit card for quite a few years now and found dealing with MBNA to be very easy. The Credit limit for the card is very low by comparison to others, however it's a reasonable interest rate and the MBNA app makes it very easy to manage everything in an easy to understand, no nonsense fashion. I have only contacted MBNA customer services in relation to a personal loan but they were very helpful and friendly when I spoke to them. I would recommend MBNA with family and friends but be mindful that the credit limits offered do seem to be lower by comparison to other companies. Reviewed on: 2nd June 2023

WORST CREDIT CARD EVER

I have had this card for a while, mostly for Amazon purchases. It has a $10,000 limit and I prepaid $6,000 on the card for an upcoming $13,000 charge. It was rejected, despite my prepayment and I am told that is because of the $10,000 limit! What? So now to get my prepaid $6,000 back will be a long time. I am cancelling this card as it has been rejected several times and now even though I have prepaid $6,000 on the card. I am fed up! Reviewed on: 13th May 2023

They blocked my card for suspicious activity

They blocked my card for suspicious activity because i was travelling in Florida. I called MBNA the lady transferred me to a special department. Waited over an hour on-hold absolutely nuts. You need a are card when travelling and this line should be answered immediately so the issue can be rectified. Will definitely be cancelling this card. Zero customer support. Capitol One is the best budget card. Reviewed on: 17th April 2023

If I could, I'd give -5 stars. One time i asked for an extension to my 0% interest and they close one of my accounts and lowered my credit limit SIGNIFICANTLY on another. Im told they sent a letter I didn't get the letter, and I still haven't been told why? I asked for a 30 day interest free extension as I was struggling to pay it all back on the date my 0% balance transfer expired. I needed 2 weeks actually, but the man I spoke to, for god knows how long, and after MANY times of explaining my situation, he finally understood. He assured me that my account wouldn't close or change. Then I see one of my credit cards have closed and another one lowered. I've never been late with any payments. I've always paid on time. I've had these accounts for a while. One time I asked for an extension, and my loyalties are paid with closed account and one account limit lowered!!!! My loyalty clearly meant nothing and being a customer for so long. Terrible service and an even worse way of retaining customers. Also, hire people who understand you when you speak! MBNA’s website and app are atrocious, and their customer service isn’t any better. The app doesn’t use any form of input validation. The designers are lazy and in no way customer-focused. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023
