Reply from Mettle Hi there, Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you’ve had issues with your Mettle account and with the switching process. We’re asking customers to switch to our new bank account so that we can provide them with new features and products that we hope will make managing their business finances easier in the future. These features include savings pots, a tax estimate and timeline, and FSCS protection, with more to come. We’re aiming to make the process as seamless as possible, but we’re aware that some of the steps required may be less than ideal. We think that although the short-term process takes a bit of time, the long-term benefits we’ll be able to provide our customers makes it worth it. If you’d like to speak to us about any of the issues you’ve had with your account or the switching process, please drop us a message in-app and one of our support team will be happy to help. Simple bank account with great features

Simple bank account but the real game changer is that there are no bank fees to pay for the account & you get Freeagent accounting software for free too. This makes it a no brainer for small sole traders & limited companies. Plus it's backed by a large banking group. Reviewed on: 27th February 2021

Modern day Banking with traditional routes

I started my business at the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic & came across Mettle randomly. The product is easy to use, constantly being improved & ties in with our accounting package. It’s everything you need from a modern day digital bank... but the best thing about it, is it’s staff. The customer service is brilliant. I’ve been invited onto zoom calls to improve the product & give my insight. Customer service queries resolved in the matter of minutes. It’s like going to a bank but without all the troubles!
