The RBS Select current account is a basic account for everyday banking.

Account holders can access RBS’ mobile banking app which has a range of money management features and built-in credit score checker. The Select account is compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay and has the option for an arranged overdraft.

Why I stay with RBS

I have been with RBS for around 30 years. The reason I stay with them is the helpful attitude of the staff in their Salisbury office. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Reviewed on: 19th February 2016

Excellent customer service

I have been a customer of RBS for over 10 years and have had no problems whatsoever with them. Their customer service is excellent and. whenever I have had a query about anything, they have always managed to sort things out for me. I purchased annual travel insurance from them and it was, by far, the cheapest insurance I could find. My husband is disabled and we both have multiple health concerns so were concerned about the cost to travel overseas. Thanks to RBS we could afford the insurance and the holiday. Rude Over The Customer

Always on hand to help

42 years - No problems

RBS is a fantastic bank - I have never had a problem in 42 years - There are various ways to bank - In person, over the phone, on the internet or via an app. I use them all on different occasions. Reviewed on: 17th February 2016

Fine but not amazing!

I would love for my bank to be open on Saturdays however each time they ask me to come in for an annual review i have to take a day off work!!! So frustrating Reviewed on: 17th February 2016
