The RBS Select current account is a basic account for everyday banking.

Account holders can access RBS’ mobile banking app which has a range of money management features and built-in credit score checker. The Select account is compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay and has the option for an arranged overdraft.

My account features are basic but it does exactly what I need and has no large account fees. I’ve had very few issues and when I have they have always resolved these quickly. I also find it easy to get through to a human in there customer services Reviewed on: 21st April 2025

Switched my current account to get £200.

Switched my current account to get £200. Everything went smoothly with switch but had to go in and complain twice before I receive the £200 . Which took about 6 months before I received it Reviewed on: 8th March 2025

A solid bank account

RBS provides an over 60s telephone line which is answered quickly by someone who can sort out the problem. The banking service is rock-solid and the app and online service is excellent. Reviewed on: 20th November 2024
