I was unable to transfer money from one of my accounts online despite the fact that I operate all my Saffron accounts online. On the telephone, a very helpful member of staff was able to transfer the money to my nominated account but I couldn't. “Clunky” procedures like that certainly detract for the Society’s appeal to me. My husband and I went to the Brentwood Essex branch last week to transfer the matured funds from our bond. We needed to know what was best product for us to choose. We spoke to Ally Groves and Ian Eyo. They were very helpful and friendly but professional as well. After asking us about length of time we wanted to invest etc they came up with various options. We eventually chose a 1 year Cash ISA as this suited all our requirements. Both Ally and Ian were great in assisting us, as they had a good knowledge of what was available and were very patient while we decided what to go for. We would definitely recommend Saffron B.S and this branch. With thanks to Ally & Ian for their input as we were quite anxious about dealing with this issue and they made it very easy for us.
