Banking with First Direct for over thirty years

We’ve been banking with First Direct for over thirty five years and found their customer service to be second to none. Always able to respond quickly and positively to any request and issue that we have raised. Staff are always polite and extremely knowledgable. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026

The Bonus account is easy to set up.

The Bonus account is easy to set up and gives a good interest rate which allows you to invest any amount of money a month and you can withdraw at anytime but you will lose your interest rate for that month. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026

Alerts any payment in or out immediately on your app.. .Money easily transferred within your accounts and any payments to another bank is checked before sending.. The regular saving is a good interest rate and the the bonus saver adds interest in the account every month. No problem to put in more or take out.. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Great bank with great service

I’ve been with this bank for many years and it’s brilliant. Call and speak with a real person who is always helpful. No long waiting times on calls or fobbing you off. Always courteous. Website has lots of information and is easy to use. Online banking is simple any issues are easily resolved by phone. Would recommend to anyone. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Bonus saving account with First Di...

I have this and other savings accounts with First Direct it is very easy to use via their App and provides a good return giving instant access, if needed, for a months loss of the bonus intrest. Highly recommend this savings account. Reviewed on: 14th February 2026

Thirty five years of excellent service

We have been FD customers for over thirty five years and have had consistently excellent service in all areas. They have a range of accounts which we have used at various stages in managing our finances to meet our needs at the time, from having a young family to dealing with pensions. First Direct, more than 30 years on and still happy

I have banked with first direct now since I was a teenager, I am now 54 years old and have had nothing but excellent service from them, I would highly recommend them to bank with in all aspects of your money, I have savings, current and offset mortgage accounts with them and can honestly say all my feedback is 100%positive.
