One star and that’s being generous the service I’ve received from them has been terrible I was in a car accident in January and my vehicle was written off I have had to constantly chase them to get things sorted your on hold for over an hour every time you call before you Evan get to speak to any one then when you finally do get through to someone they haven’t got a clue how to sort you query so getting put on hold again for 20/30 minutes at a time. I still haven’t been paid out for my car and every person I’ve spoken to since hasn’t been able to sort it. They’re cheap for a reason the service is shocking. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2024

Wanted to renew a policy and pay

Wanted to renew a policy . They had automatic renewal but card had ended, Called to give new card , also a couple of amendments. Waited 40 mins for customer service operator, could hardly hear her , poor communication skills , tries to charge us extra £32 to make changes then couldn't give us the new premium which should have been lower until we paid the old premium . The operative was next to useless, zero customer service skills. We asked to speak to supervisor , at 1hr 40 mins put the phone down . no call back . in the interim period whilst waiting for the manager went onto Compare the market , found various quotes, booked new car policy with Saga £100plus cheaper for better policy. Avoid Sheilas wheels they used to be very good, easy to call , but now all chat bot. Totally wasted nearly two hours of our lives. Reviewed on: 1st March 2024

Avoid sheils wheels - had to organise my own repair

Having spent over 2 hours on hold i finally made a claim. They emailed me the details of the garage they they had 'arranged'. I rang the garage 2 days later as we hadnt heard from them and they informed me that they were not an approved repairer for the car so couldn’t take the job. The insurance policy clearly states the make of the car, so why would they try and send the car to a garage that cant repair it? Unfortunately this got worse. I immediately rang Sheilas Wheels and the staff member wasn’t even aware that the garage wasn’t going to take the car! What a waste of 2 days. They then said they would ask a different garage. I rang that garage the following day and they informed me that they wouldn’t take a car as far out of their area. This happened for another 2 garages, all with the same issue – they wouldn’t repair a car unless it was in their area. So not only was the mistake made in the first place, but it was repeated 3 times! And each time, I have to ring the garage to find out and then tell sheilas wheels as they clearly have no system for checking or follow up. This went on for a week before they said i should arrange my own garage!!! Awful lack of follow up, and stupid waste of time. Reviewed on: 25th February 2024

Avoid Sheilas Wheels and Esure - On hold over 2 hours

The online claims system was not working, so I rang to make a claim. Was on hold for 53 minutes only to be told that they could not take the details of the claim and that they would put me through to someone who can. I was put back on hold again, and then I was cut off a few minutes later. Very frustrating. So I tried the online chat service. It was 39 minutes before anyone answered and they also said that they couldn’t take the claim and that I needed to ring the number I had already rung! So i rang the samenumber as before and after a other 35 minutes on hold, finally someone answered who was able to take the claim details. In total I spent over 2 hours on hold before I could finally make the claim. Terrible. Reviewed on: 24th February 2024

MOB HANDED FRAUDSTERS

I regret to say that my experience with Sheilas Wheels has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. From start to finish, dealing with this company has felt like navigating through a labyrinth of incompetence and indifference. First and foremost, it's evident that Sheilas Wheels operates more like a mafia-run enterprise than a reputable insurance provider. They seem more interested in taking your money than providing genuine assistance when you need it most. My claim experience with them was marred by delays, obfuscation, and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. One of the most infuriating aspects of dealing with Sheilas Wheels is their tendency to pass customers from one person to another, none of whom seem capable of providing any meaningful assistance. It's as if they're intentionally designed to frustrate and exhaust anyone seeking help. In my case, I was forced to take matters into my own hands and contact the salvage company directly to chase up payment to Sheilas Wheels. This unnecessary extra step resulted in significant delays in the resolution of my claim, costing me over six weeks of insurance policy payments for a period during which I did not require coverage. To add insult to injury, Sheilas Wheels also managed to overpay the finance company involved, leading to further charges and interest on my end. This level of incompetence is simply unacceptable from a supposedly reputable insurance provider. Moreover, the lack of communication from Sheilas Wheels throughout the entire process was appalling. My claim remained open for just short of five months with minimal correspondence from their end, only prompting any action when I chased them up. Despite assurances that my claim would be closed by a certain date, it was only resolved much later, leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Overall, my experience with Sheilas Wheels has left me deeply dissatisfied and disillusioned. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and explore alternative options. Sheilas Wheels may promise peace of mind, but in reality, they deliver nothing but headaches and disappointment. Reviewed on: 12th February 2024

Sheila, the wheels have come off.

Been trying to add a new driver to a policy for 4 days in a row. I’ve tried using the online method, put all the details in and get a message at the end saying I need to use the chat feature and speak to a “specialist”. I use the chat feature, if you connect to someone, it either disconnects or they just stop replying. I managed to give a “specialist” all the info required for them to say that there is an issue with their system and they can’t add a driver right now, but will send an email when their system is working again and I’ll be able to add the driver, obviously I Never received an email. I’ve now spent my Sunday calling, the first call I waited on hold for 40mins, I connect to an advisor, give them all the info, all they need to do is give me a quote… they hang up whilst waiting for their system to load. I think surely they’ll send me an email with the quote as they have all the info they need from me. Nope, no email received, so I’m now on hold again for over an hour, waiting for someone to answer the phone :) in all… avoid Sheila’s Wheels, and spend a bit more £s on your premium so you don’t have to go through a well spent Sunday listening to hello darkness my old friend whilst on hold (that is genuinely one of the songs on the hold music playlist) resisting the urge to take your toaster in the bath.
