AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Wouldn’t waste your time or money I was paying £220 a month for insurance on my Range Rover evoque that was stolen without keys I reported this to Tesco 3 weeks ago now and still haven’t been offered a settlement figure even though the vehicle was found I’ve had phone calls from copart asking if I have the key to the vehicle the same key Tesco have already made me post back to them! No settlement figure yet my cars already in a salvage auction! Leaving me to feel as though Tesco have currently stolen my car and all the money I paid for it! I also payed extra on top of this for a like for like curtesy car at the point of reporting the claim I wasn’t even offered a curtesy car the next day I had to ring Tesco again only to find out they’d not put all the details through so I still couldn’t have a curtesy car I had to argue with Tesco and there curtesy car company for 2 days to have a curtesy car brought out twice they promised me it would be there on that same day and wasn’t and even when I finally managed to get one brought out they told me they was unable to honour the like for like I paid extra for TESCO USE A FRAUD INVESTIGATION TEAM CALLED ROBERTSON & CO THIS COMPANIES ONLINE REVIEWS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES CHECK THE COMPANY ROBERTSON & CO OUT FOR YOURSELF FIRST! Tesco have claimed they can’t do anymore for me until the Robertson and co report comes though this company in question have strung me along for 3 weeks claiming every single day my report will be reviewed regularly being rude to me down the phone or putting the phone down! MY VEHICLE WAS BOUGHT IN CASH AS MANY ARE IVE ALREADY PROVIDED THEM A WRITTEN INVOICE THE SELLER GAVE ME! This money came from me and my partner selling my Audi A1 and his Ford focus WE NEEDED A BIGGER CAR DUE TO BEING A FEW WEEKS OFF HAVING A NEW BABY this company in question are demanding I provide them bank statements for these cash/Facebook marketplace sales clearly this is not possible when they were private cash sales THIS COMPANY ARE MAKING US FEEL AS IF THERE MAIN PURPOSE IS TO PREVENT ANY PAY OUT FOR THE THEFT OF OUR VEHICLE TESCO HAD ALREADY TRIED TO FORCE ME TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK THE SAME WEEK IT WAS STOLEN! SO IS THIS JUST ANOTHER WAY FOR THEM TO AVOID PAYING YOU OUT! Me and my partner both have severe mental health issues and these have massively deteriorated since this incident and claim we also have two children one of them being severely autistic my poor daughter was petrified of having that car back after knowing someone had stolen it she felt unsafe and in danger she also needs structure with her being autistic the lack of curtesy car prevented her from being able to attend school our baby was also due jabs at the doctors Tesco did not care one bit about this WE HAVE NOW BEEN FORCED AND LEFT WITH NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO ASK TO CANCEL THE CLAIM AND HAVE OUR VEHICLE BACK BECAUSE BOTH COMPANIES HAVE NO INTEREST IN DEALING WITH US APPROPRIATELY OR OFFERING US A SETTLEMENT THE AMOUNT OF PAIN WORRY AND STRESS THESE COMPANIES HAVE CAUSED ARE GENUINELY NOT WORTH IT PLEASE AVOID SAVE YOURSELF ANY HASSLE Reviewed on: 19th December 2024

Stay away from Tesco insurance

Hi It is 8 months now, since my wife had accident and my disabled daughter was hurt in the car, They send her to physiotherapy for a session and that all we never heard back from them, Every time we call Tesco insurance they saying it’s the solicitor, we ask to call or email you , Nothing absolutely nothing But the very first thing they did was her insurance premium gone high a lot, even the accident wasn’t her fault, someone hit from behind My advice to you all , stay away from Tesco insurance Reviewed on: 9th June 2023

The worst experience I've had.

Customers charged for making an error.

Having purchased car insurance on 25th May 2023 I received paperwork some days later . While checking paperwork I noticed I had put my wifes year of birth one year wrong and for some reason that I must have done in error I was shown as a named driver on another vehicle. That was on 31st May 2023. Spent following day trying online to edit the incorrect information. On 2nd June 2023 in desperation I rang Tesco Bank/ car insurance to be told that I could not change my wife's date of birth online but as the policy doesn't start till 6th June they will wave the £25 alterations fee. ( How kind....not) The lady named Ellie having corrected my error then announced you now owe us another £67. I was fuming to say the least but kept calmish as she went to ask someone about it. She came back and said yes that is the price.. Now I do not believe that one year difference in a pensioners age costs £67. So I deliberately cancelled the policy and thought I'll redo the policy through confused.com as before which is when I found out that he....her boss who she referred to as he had not charged me the price at when I got the quote and booked it originally but was charging me today's price. Well if you call that honest MrTesco, I don't. I find it disgusting and as for the jobsworth who made the decision at least I know what goes round comes round. Must be really proud. Tesco.... shocking service

I had a minor knock on my car last month. Tesvo collected my car and sent it to a repair centre of their choice. The enhanced courtesy car that I pay for ended up being a downgrade. After 28 days they told me my courtesy car wasn't insured anymore but provided no replacement and now 33 days o I have no courtesy car, my car repair remains still not done and communication has been appalling. I have never in my life known a more amateurish and poor insurance company. The stress has been appalling and the negligence leaving me with no car has been immense. sadly I have now only lawyers and the ombudsman to help solve the nightmare I'm living. terrible. Avoid Tesco Bank Box Insurance!

Took out a new Tesco Bank Box Insurance policy. Initially was very happy at the service offered and price quoted. Be warned! A week after the policy starting, they came to fit the black box and within an hour they had photographed the car, sent it to the Insurance under writer and CANCELLED the insurance policy. Citing vehicle modifications as reason for cancellation. It turned out that having a sticker or decals on the car is classed as vehicle modifications by Tesco. No discussion, no logic applied. Terrible company

I had my car driven into and I reported the accident immediately. I had all the information on the other driver who was at fault, so all they had to do was call the insurance company.I was assured I would hear from my claim handler in the week. I hadn’t heard after 10 days so I called. I had to give them time to respond. It is now a month and the only communication they have had with me is a letter to say they are increasing my insurance by £400 a year. So I called and said it’s now a month and no one has called me to let me know what is going on, and it’s a cheek to increase my insurance! I am so angry but they have you over a barrel. If anyone has any advice, please help. The damage to my car is getting worse. Reviewed on: 29th April 2023

Garbage smells better than their service. Do yourself a favour and avoid buying their service

They dont take responsibility of the problem. Incident happens in Feb, and they havent fixed the issue yet. They don't return to my calls, they don't let me speak to relevant team member to get this dealt. Reviewed on: 28th April 2023
