Review of the Vanquis, Credit Card:

Good for poor credit, otherwise avoid

I got this credit card to boost my credit rating as I had been previously refused another card. It worked and after using this for a year, my credit rating improved significantly, so I was able to get a better credit card easily. If that is what you want, then it does the job, but be warned they constantly call and send irritating text messages. I don't ever give out my personal details over the phone unless I make the call. Vanquis constantly call and ask for personal details, but without giving anyway to confirm that they are who they say they are. The customer service over the phone is a joke, they never know anything. avoid them unless you really have poor credit and need to start to improve it. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

VANQUIS Value

I found VANQUIS provide an excellent product with affordable rates. Offering balanced transfers at the right time thus saving money. I believe Vanquis understand their customer needs and provide good service and solutions to support their financial needs. I would highly recommend them. Terrible service

for the last 2 days I have contacted Vanquis one for a payment I made and one to stop a subscription. Both times advisor was not helpful one stating that my payment was overdue the other need to pass me to 2 different people to cancel payment that I had not authorised coming out of my card so much background noise and sound quality very poor. Best credit card experience.

Best credit card experience. I’ve been able to receive the help I’ve needed during difficult times. If I ever need help, I also receive the best customer service and my doubts are cleared very quickly and efficiently. I would recommend to anyone! Reviewed on: 3rd May 2024
