Great triage system with an app which is super helpful and not always pushing for vet visits. Reasonable price but I do have quite a high excess to get that. Easy set up and billing experience Reviewed on: 2nd September 2026

Waggel have very good and clearly laid out simple pricing. Their policy documents are very clear. They have an easy to use clear service. When I have had occasion to contact them responses have been quick Overall excellent and I would highly recommend them. Reviewed on: 20th August 2026

I haven’t had any problems with Waggel. It’s cheap, I know they’ve got my back and they also send in offers regularly for other pet related products which is good. The only thing is, I don’t really have anything else to compare it to because I’ve only ever used them but yeah, good experience so far. Reviewed on: 20th August 2026

Waggel are wonderful

Waggel have been an absolute Godsend. I have insurance with them for my cats and dog. I can talk to a vet 24/7 and they are fantastic. I would never insure my pets with anyone else. They also cover dental! Phenomenal! Reviewed on: 20th August 2026

Great Pet Insurance company

Last year my pet needed several rounds of antibiotics and tests and needed 2 surgeries. It was so easy to make a claim and add on each additional treatment. They covered everything until I reached the limit. It made a very stressful situation that bit easier. Reviewed on: 20th August 2026

Dental NOT included!!!

Being over 60 and living alone im not that computer savvy. So when i saw waggel i decided to insure my older rescue moggy. 3 months in and his breath was very smelly. My vet said he needed £600 of dental work. I contacted waggel then took him back for treatment. Waggel have now decided they wont pay as i hadnt taken him for a dental check beforehand. So hidden in the small print is their get out clause. Disgusted and feeling misled and ripped off! Dont use this company! Reviewed on: 15th June 2026

I deeply regret choosing Waggel pet insurance provider.

I deeply regret choosing this pet insurance provider. What's marketed as comprehensive cover is riddled with unreasonably low policy limits that bear no relation to real veterinary costs, and the small print is deliberately designed to create grounds for refusing claims rather than paying them. When my pet needed treatment, I discovered just how many traps were buried in the policy wording — exclusions, sub-limits, and technicalities that exist for one purpose: to avoid paying out. The limits are so low they're essentially meaningless in any serious situation. I'd strongly urge anyone considering this provider to read every line of the policy document before buying, compare the actual limits against typical vet bills in your area, and ask yourself whether this cover would genuinely protect you when it matters.
