Second to none!

Having insured through Admiral for many years I find them great value and a straightforward company to deal with. Being automatically offered a refund for reduced vehicle use during Covid was completely unexpected and was an indication of trustworthiness and customer care. Angela is amazing!

I haven’t recently been involved in a car accident that wasn’t my fault. Admiral contacted me to help with the claim. I am not a member with Admiral but I was fully impressed with the service and professionalism delivered. They are far better at helping me with this accident than my actual insurance! The little box pod is an absolute piece of rubbish.

The little box pod is an absolute piece of rubbish. Like some of the other reviews here, I’m a careful driver. I don’t accelerate hard, or speed. I don’t use my phone when driving either. At times you are forced to brake hard due to other road users. im getting penalised for accelerating when I know I haven’t. It’s a terrible piece of equipment Reviewed on: 6th February 2025

Incompetent and understaffed

Incompetent and lacking capacity to do the real work (managing insurance claims effectively) You should look at how insurers handle claims. In my case they have badly messed up 2 claims and the subsequent complaints. I think they have staff competency and capacity issues. It has been 1 year since these issues started and honestly Admiral can't seem to do anything right. Issues: - Fraudulent third party claim for over £4000 excess work unresolved. I have provided images of the third party car at the time of the incident showing none of the extensive damages claimed for were present on the car at the time but Admiral have done nothing. -Admiral extremely pressuring me with Copart to give them my car for scrap without explaining that I could retain the car. -Admiral applying the wrong category for write off. Then saying they have corrected when they haven't (which would have got me in trouble with the DVLA). I checked myself and found that they still had not put the correct category on. -Admiral never starting proceedings with third party insurer to recover excess (incident in February 2024). They like sending emails and saying they've done all they can. So you will be without your excess for months. - Admiral complaints team seem to be over burdened. They do not reply to emails or investigate concerns. If they do reply they will not Get your complaint in early so that you can take them to Ombudsman instead. -Admiral privacy team does not provide all phone calls as part of a subject access request. It will be the phone calls that you actually need (the ones where they pressured you or made mistakes) that they will not provide. This is illegal. My premium has increased and I am at least £600 down. Save your money and go to a competent insurer. Reviewed on: 12th December 2024

I had an accident that I had claimed with Admiral with compresive insurance they passed the case to a 3rd party company and they were useless as well then the 3rd party company decided to move the case back to admiral after more than a month... After I had the total lost and they promised £2000 they didn't even mention that they will take the deductions so I will get only about £800 this is shocking how they are working... One of the worst insurance company Which I get. First of all if you repair in your pocket they don't mention any pitfall. I payed my damage Which wasn't my fault and Now the don't pay for me Back. My cost was nearly £200 and they wanna goug my eyes out with a £50 voucher. I'm sure after this all I'll change my insurance and take care with them!!!!! Reviewed on: 28th October 2024
