Easy address change, good value for money

When moving for student living, it was very easy to change my address for term time to get a residential permit. Additionally, with no extra cost Reviewed on: 16th July 2026

Car Insurance - an easy process.

From getting a quote to actually starting the policy, the whole process was easy to complete with all relevant information close to hand and explanations as required. Reviewed on: 16th July 2026

Message chat needs improvement

3
I wanted to remove a named driver from my car insurance and add my husband as a named driver for just two weeks. It all seemed very straightforward online, having painstakingly added all the relevant details, but at the end the screen showed 'we need more information'. A reference number came up with a link to the chat. I entered the reference number in the message and waited . Eventually I had a response asking me if I wanted to add a named driver. I responded yes, as per the information I had already submitted online, and repeated the reference number. Another wait, and I was told that the policy was in 'transition' ( due to be renewed in 3 weeks) and it had to be passed on to the transition team. Another wait and then another agent came online with a standard list of questions which I had already completed online. Once again, I responded with the reference number. Another wait, then I was asked to confirm the name of the driver I needed to add. At this stage I gave up. It was clear that the agents were trying to handle too many customers at once and it was easier to simply ask the same questions again rather than read the history. What would happen if I was trying to make a claim? Not the best customer service Reviewed on: 16th July 2026

RIP OFF !

1
Multi Car policyholder , put daughter - previously on policy - back on policy for 1 month (back from travelling) and was charged £220 ! Subsequently put her back on permanently until the end of the policy (October) and charged £36 ??!! So 1 months cover costs £220 - £2640 annual equivalent for 1 person ??!! Total rip off . Will not be renewing and will go elsewhere . Also their call centre in India is a total waste of time and totally unhelpful . Reviewed on: 10th July 2026

Absolutely disgraceful insurance company!

1
Absolutely disgraceful insurance company! Absolutely zero support! When I asked for help, I wad told to contact the 3rd party insurers. I had to do all the work myself. The only thing that admiral is interested in is, renewal! I had texts, emails, even a letter in the post! All about renewal. When a customer needs help, you are passed from pillar to post! When admiral want your money they hound you! On the messenger chat I kept saying I didn't want to renew! It was a very awkward chat! Anyone insuring with Admiral, firstly think twice and if you do get insurance make sure you turn auto renewal OFF! Always go on comparison sites, as loyalty really does account for nothing! I am totally disgusted with the total lack of support I have received from Admiral. In future even if Admiral comes up cheaper, I will never insure with them again! Reviewed on: 16th June 2026

Admiral have fair prices, I love the easiness of their app and website as they are easy to navigate. I however don’t like that it’s hard to find a phone number and have to use their online chatbot which doesn’t always help. Reviewed on: 29th May 2026
