Been with Admiral for nearly 10 years!

I have been with Admiral since I got my first car. Every year they either match other renewal costs in the market if I can find lower ones, or genuinely come in lower. always competitive on price and good quality insurance from a reputable company! Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Good value and easy to amend any details

It was quick and easy to set up, verifying my no claims took ringing up as it had been inputted wrong (after evidence sent) they were lovely on the phone, fixed straight away and took £15 off the policy for the inconvenience of having to ring them. it was the cheapest fully comp option at the time Reviewed on: 15th April 2026

Jess, the customer service representative makes my day

Last year, I purchased a one-year car insurance policy for my brother-in-law, who just relocated to the UK, through Admiral car insurance, using my own bank account for payment. This year, when the policy was automatically renewed, he didn't notice the email notification. As a result, the renewal charge was mistakenly deducted from my bank account again. I called the customer service and spoke with Jess. She was very patient, helpful, and professional. After carefully verifying all the necessary information, she assured me that the matter would be handled immediately and arranged for a refund to be returned to my bank account within a few days. I truly appreciate the company's efficient and responsible handling of this situation. I'm writing this review to recognize their excellent service and professionalism. Thank you very much, Jess! Not recommended

Got this insurance provider for my car and after for my home- since beginning I have problems to log in in my policy- few calls to technical support- answers still same as it is in progress and technical team will work on it. After 8 months of it i decided to not renewal my home policy. I informed them about it and left the policy expire and bought new one from different provider. 3 days ago I got mail about i own money for the renewal home policy what I didn't renew- called support- talk with representative and multiple time said I want cancel the renewal of the home policy again- ok they canceled it- fine. Today i found out they canceled my car policy as well - I never requested - for me they are done. I will definitely not recommend the provider to anyone - even the enemy. Absolutely appalling experience with Admiral.

Absolutely appalling experience with Admiral. I was quoted a higher renewal price on my multi-car policy, so I challenged it and was “generously” offered £150 off. Out of curiosity, I then went online — still with Admiral — and got a quote as a new customer that was over £300 cheaper than my renewal. So let’s be clear: loyal customers are penalised, while new customers are rewarded. There is zero loyalty and zero integrity in their pricing. Their own system proves they were overcharging me — and would have happily continued to do so if I hadn’t checked. My advice: never auto-renew with Admiral. Cancel and re-quote as a new customer or go elsewhere entirely. Ridiculous business practice and a complete waste of time. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026
