Car Insurance...competitive prices

Aviva Zero are absolutely awful.

1
Aviva Zero is a hateful experience. Forget he greenwashing nonsense, provide proper customer support instead. Using a Live Chat on the website toa call centre in Inida is atrocious. Also, the approved repairers, at least in my area, are all terrible and have shocking reviews, plus they aren't even that near me, but to use a trusted local bodyshop I have to pay a £500 excess, and because I didn't take the overpriced legal cover I have to claim it back from the other party's insurer (non-fault on my part, they admitted full liability). Aviva try and trick you into using their repairer with promises of all sorts of courtesy cars and collecting yours etc, but that just bumps up insurance prices and has no bearing on the repair quality. They also tell you the repair won't be guaranteed by them for the next three years (which is irrelevant since I won't be with them after this year is done). Aviva Zero are worse than useless. Cheap they may be, but cheerful they most certainly aren't. Avoid at all costs. Reviewed on: 25th January 2024

Shocking

1
Trying to talk to someone about car insurance query is almost imposibble. They entice you in with 'talk to someone' in their heading & just send you around the houses with multiple choice questions leading you to a website. Broken Britain at it's worst. Like Car Parks with no cash points. Like Supermarkets with no staff. I will not go near Aviva ever again. Reviewed on: 12th November 2023

Avoid Aviva

1
Avoid Aviva, I had a flat tyre, instead of sending someone to fix my tyre, they took my car away, it has been 8 days since, no one have called me back to give me an update. I tried every possible number, when you finally speak to someone they are no able to help. When you use the web chat or no one is available or you get through the wrong department and they can’t help as well. F… horrible service. I might need to go to the police. This is my claim number 4502821102. to prove this is genuine. Reviewed on: 4th November 2023

Aviva Zero worst insurance

1
I had an absolutely dreadful experience with Aviva Zero Insurance. They are, without a doubt, the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. My entire ordeal with them was a nightmare from start to finish. First and foremost, trying to get in touch with Aviva Zero is an exercise in futility. They never pick up their phones, and emails go unanswered. It's as if they have zero interest in communicating with their customers. To make matters worse, I had a brand new car that was damaged by another driver, and according to their engineer, it was deemed a write-off. However, when I sought a second opinion from another engineer, I was told that only the front bumper and intercooler needed to be changed. Aviva Zero Insurance, however, refused to budge from their initial assessment, leaving me with only half of what I should have received for the damage to my vehicle. It's clear that this company is more interested in sticking to their own opinions rather than providing fair and reasonable service to their customers. They seem utterly indifferent to the needs and concerns of their policyholders. I would strongly advise anyone considering Aviva Zero Insurance to think twice. If you ever need to make a claim, be prepared for a frustrating and disheartening experience. This company does not care about its customers, and I wouldn't wish their terrible service on anyone. Look elsewhere for insurance coverage—you'll be better off with a company that values its customers and provides honest and responsive service. Reviewed on: 10th October 2023

Impossible to contact, lies made by staff. Left with a damaged vehicle for months and repeated cancelations of repairs. STAY WELL CLEAR. Reviewed on: 6th October 2023

Massive cancellation fees

1
If you're going to risk using Aviva Zero for your policy get ready for a hefty £56 in cancellation fee if you sell your car. That's extortionate by any standards for what amounts to hitting the 'cancel' button on a computer. I won't be using them again and I certainly wouldn't recommend them as an insurer.
