Five year fixed rate mortgage renewal

I rang Darlington and spoke to Rebbecca Russell with regards to a further fixed rate mortgage. I had been approached by magpie money who wanted to arrange this for me only to be told that they would expect me to pay a fee of £499 for the privilege. I spoke to Rebecca in the hope that she could arrange this but without the me having to pay a fee. She arranged and the fixed rate was even cheaper. She arranged this and was extremely helpful and pleasant. I am extremely happy with the service provided by Rebecca. Reviewed on: 7th January 2024

Darlington Building Society have been my mortgage provider since 2020. All my interactions with the Society either by phone or online have been positive and enabling. The staff I have spoken with have been very professional and listened carefully to my needs. On a wider level the whole ethos of their fundamental purpose shines through in their communications via newsletter etc. I would wholeheartedly recommend them in a heartbeat. Once again we have called upon Darlington Building Society to port our mortgage for our new home. We have known Ann Walpole for a few years now and everytime we have dealt with Ann, we know we will always receive a very high standard from her. She is always very professional and certainly knows her job and she is able to answer all of our questions so we have a clear understanding.
