Abysmal

I have tried to contact them for 5 days in a row and been put on auto hold for over 30 minutes each time and I have also opened 'live' webchat each time in the hope that someone will respond. Not a chance. Truly awful company and unfortunately you don't realise until you try to contact them. Dread to think what would happen if you had a claim. I actually wanted to upgrade my policy. Appalling service

Unacceptable service from a company that is cynically auto renewing and despite writing and emailing in I no longer had the vehicle AND did not want to auto renew they have charged me a cancellation fee. This firm is appalling, cynical and everything that is wrong with the UK car insurance industry. Avoid at all costs, they lack integrity and transparency. Reviewed on: 4th August 2017

Rubbish, rip off broker

Good insurance covering essentials

Have had this insurance for second year running. Not had a problem, although look around on compare websites as you may get a cheaper deal for them than their renewal quote given. Overall happy with the service. Reviewed on: 28th July 2017

Great in a crisis

Having been hit by a driver who didn't report the accident to his insurance I thought I was going to have loads of hassle but hastings direct made everything easy. I"m more than happy to recommend. Reviewed on: 26th July 2017

Rubbish

A few months after my insurance ended with them they sent me a letter saying I'd been involved in a crash in my old car (I had changed the car whilst with them and notified the DVLA also). They failed to even look at that, as the date was months after I got a new car. They took my no claims off me too, which i was worried about affecting my new insurer. After many phone calls and hours on the phone they admitted that the car was not insured when the accident happened in my name, nor was it registered to me according to the DVLA therefore it had nothing to do with me!
