Good price, luckily didnt have to test the service!

Great priced insurance with low excess and good coverage. Luckily I never had to use it so I dont know about their service once you have had an accident but the rest of their service was great. Reviewed on: 5th July 2017

Despite having an accident in the previous year, Hastings Direct offered my a great insurance price along with breakdown cover. They were very helpful and clear when I joined them and all my documents are available at the click of a button! Easy peasy! Reviewed on: 4th July 2017

Disgusting Customer Service

Having been a loyal customer for a couple of years we were posted to a new build - right next to a current housing area. For 50 weeks we were insured here no problems but upon renewal we received 2 'we can not offer you a quote'. When I rung to enquire what was going on they informed me that the underwriters didn't have enough information on the area to insure us. Funny as a guy we know on the next street over is insured by them no problems. Long story short - they don't think a phone call would have been good enough and there was nothing they could do. This isn't satisfactory and they have lost the custom of 500 new homes - most with 2 cars. Reviewed on: 4th July 2017

Great for new Customers

Each year my premium would go up but as a new customer my premium could be 2/300 pounds cheaper. Not sure if this is the norm but has soured my view of Hastings. However that being said the application procedure is very quick and you can access your details online really easily. Reviewed on: 4th July 2017

They haven't done anything wrong

All excellent until you need help

I was with Hastings for many years with good customer service and all round good service. Until I had a car accident that wasn't my fault. It was a very long and draw out process with them not wanting to release funds. By this point their customer service was also failing. Decided to leave the company after 2 years due to this. Mistakes
