Cheap.. but it shows!

Very poor customer services! Initially had to answer lots of questions eg does the house have a slate or tile roof? ( they knew all that anyhow) Totally irrelevant as the claim was for a cycle stolen on holiday! Still waiting after several weeks inspite of phone calls and unanswered emails Reviewed on: 17th July 2025

Never made a claim new premium 40% increase!!

Having never claimed on my home insurance the premiums from Hastings have risen every year. This year I was offered a renewal with a further 40% increase! After searching for other quotes I went back to Hastings and miraculously they reduced the premium back to the cost of the previous years. This is a clear case of price gouging its loyal customers to try their luck with hugely inflated premiums only to reduce them back if they are called out. Completely unethical behaviour, will never use again! Reviewed on: 8th June 2025
