My son is a student and has an a with HSBC.

My son is a student and has an account with HSBC. He has been waiting for a replacement debit card since September, now 3 months. They keep saying it has been sent but it never arrives. We have gone so far as to send him things through the post to make sure the postal system works and they arrived next day. What a terrible way to treat a young student away from home for the first time. He has spoken to several staff but they just don’t care. Luckily he has friends who can give him cash but it really restricts his activities. Shame on you Reviewed on: 27th November 2024

Excellent service from my local branch.

HSBC blocked a payment from my current account as it was thought that it might be fraudulent. I went to my local branch, where a friendly member of staff provided me with a cup of coffee and helped me to sort out the problem. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

I went to HSBC because I lost my card, and I met a beautiful customer service agent, Linda Newron, who welcomed me and helped how to get new card in the post, taught me how to use the new system cash machine because I am illiterate, I really appreciate her a lot. In addition, she helped me in the past when my son passed away and did account closure. She’s very highly experienced and amazing person. Reviewed on: 23rd February 2025
