Excellent bank

Couldn't be happier with the services offered by the bank. They have been extremely forthcoming with any problems I've had. Love local agents handling calls and the mobile app is extremely easy to use with excellent security that isn't annoying. Great bank have been with them for years. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Terrible customer service

I had money taken out of my account which wasn’t authorized. This happened in February and after numerous calls and now June, nothing has Happened. I kept getting fobbed off and transferred to loads of different people, who hadn’t a clue on how to proceed with my problem. I have been a customer for fifty years and really deserve better. I hate aib

It’s like banking in the Stone Age. App is rubbish, online banking is worse, can’t transfer in branch so I was offered a cheque book instead… what century is this bank working in?! Can’t wait to close the account. Reviewed on: 17th February 2022

Their app and customer service are a disaster

I have been an AIB customer for the last 10 years. The last couple of years have been horrible. They could never build a reliable app. The authentification system on both desktop and mobile app are very buggy to say the least. They often block your card for no reason and you have to call them to unblock it. The only problem is that no one answers the phone. I have been trying to unblock my card for the last 2 months with no luck. This is a nightmare. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Needs to stop investing in the destruction of our planet.

Spent at least an hour on the phone to many staff members asking if they were still investing in fossil fuels. No one knew. Don't put your money in a bank like this, try a more ethical bank, one which invests in the future of our kids, not destroying it. Reviewed on: 18th January 2022
