Does what it says on the tin.

I enjoy being with HSBC, they are reliable and secure. However, my main bug bare about them is that its hard to actually get to a counter at a bank. You seem to get interrogated on arrival at the branch and if it is something that can be solved on the phone you are more or less banned from going upstairs to actually speak to a person. Other than that though, I love how seriously they take my security. It's almost too tricky to transfer and access my money online. They have never given me a reason not to trust them and they do exactly what they say. They are a good, reliable, trustworthy bank, they just seem to shy away from face to face customer service. Great Customer Service

Friendly call center staff who gets straight to the point, in my case informing me to go to a branch. At the branch the staff are just as helpful and normally ones all ways free! Reviewed on: 29th April 2015

HSBC is amazing, easy to access online or visit as there are plenty of stores.

I have a credit card and student account at HSBC. There is plenty of access online, apps and there are plenty of banks around so you can always visit. It is amazing and the staff are incredible, there's always someone available and they're always so friendly and helpful! Reviewed on: 29th April 2015

Best Bank Ever!

HSBC have easily got to be the best bank. If you go into overdraft they let you know by text and give you 24 hours before starting to charge you. Their help in sticky situations are even better. I would definitely recommend this bank to anyone! I first came across them after looking at several banks and I wouldn't regret choosing these. Reviewed on: 28th April 2015

HSBC is a decent account but not the best

3
HSBC is generally a decent bank to hold a regular account with. I would recommend the regular checking account as it is no worse than others. I think HSBC has an excellent website with the exception of having to use a key fob to log in every time. I do believe this is something they are in the process of changing although I think transactions will be limited without the use of the key for safety reasons. Other than that, the banks actual website is excellent for reviewing recent transactions and viewing your monthly statements. I also find HSBC to be a good bank for transferring money, especially overseas as needed. They will store your information if you chose so one does not have to reenter all the information on a transaction they plan to make more than one time. Bill pay is also good as the money can be immediately paid into receipients account or can be set up to do so at a later date. Reviewed on: 27th April 2015

Fantastic supplier.

Support is great. Really, really helpful. The product itself is excellent and does exactly what it says on the tin. I can highly recommend HSBC for anybody wanting a simple, no frills bank account that gives you a debit card too. Reviewed on: 24th April 2015

Good all round service at competitive rates

I would strongly recommend the HSBC current account services. I currently have a student account with them and it offers some of best value and interest rates. Once you have set an overdraft limit you can increase or decrease online quickly. The inshore change counters are also an added bonus Reviewed on: 24th April 2015
