Scammers!Scammers!!! AVOID!!!!!

Scammers!!! AVOID!!!!! I am extremely disappointed with the misleading tactics of this company. I signed up for their credit card, which was advertised as offering 0% interest on purchases for 21 months. However, after just 60 days, I started being charged interest on my purchases. When I contacted customer service for clarification, they informed me that the 0% interest rate only applied to purchases made within the first 60 days. Any purchases made after that would be subject to interest, which was never clearly communicated to me. This is deceptive and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. They are not transparent about their terms, and it’s very easy to get caught out by these hidden conditions. I would strongly advise avoiding this company and their credit products at all costs. Good credit card

Balance Transfer

Very bad

Waste of time not nice to deal with

Will never deal with this company again lowered my limit by text without any warning the recommend amount has been paid for the passed two years NOT the minimum amount and after calling them all I was told it was their rights to do it without warning me. As it is my right to warn as many people as I can. Reviewed on: 15th February 2023

Terrible customer service

Was a customer for 17 years and never had a problem till they decided to cancel my card wlfor no reason and without notifying me. I have a near perfect credit rating and never missed a payment but they said 1 returned piece of mail 10 months ago caused them to cancel my entire account. But they didnt call, text or email me to let me know. When i called customer service about it, they were very rude and wouldnt do anythinf about it. All they said was you can reapply for a card and we will give you some extra points. Do not use this company as they dont care about the customer in any way. Reviewed on: 10th February 2023

Unethical

Shocking bank. Don’t allow you to pay your debts in the order that mosts suits you. Forcing you to take a hit on interest. Don’t honour their introductory periods as they will make you pay them before a debt incurring interest next week. Honestly so bad Reviewed on: 9th February 2023

MBNA PLEASE RE-TRAIN YOUR CUSTOMER SERVILE PEOPLE

"I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from MBNA. The customer service representative I spoke to was rude and aggressive, and had no understanding of my issue. It is unacceptable that someone with such poor customer service skills is employed by your company. I recently signed up for a balance transfer offer from MBNA, which included 0% interest. I received numerous emails and letters from your marketing team encouraging me to take advantage of this offer. However, on the payment day, MBNA attempted to take the payment from an inactive Direct Debit, which I had not been warned about. As a result, I missed the payment and my credit limit has been reduced to the minimum. This will have a negative effect on my credit score, all due to your poor system and not my own fault. I strongly recommend that MBNA re-train its customer service representatives and put systems in place to warn customers when their Direct Debits are inactive or cancelled. Your lack of communication and poor handling of this situation has caused me a great deal of inconvenience and frustration." Reviewed on: 29th December 2022
